Little bit about myself..
I did heavy lifting with my dad for about 3 years. When I first started out I was about 155# and was skinny as shit. So I started training with my dad who is a 270# monster. Im not going to lie I was intimidated. So he got me eating everything I could get my hands on and heavy hardcore lifting. I started getting up there in weight and in the end I was about 240#. After that 3 years was up I really got into endurance NAVY SEAL type training and I dropped 40# and am now 200# solid. One of my boys was talking to me and asked me to come out and try strongman. Im open minded, so I went out and loved it! So ive been training strongman for about 2 months and plan to do a contest thats 4 months away. Going to try to make some waves in the Lightweight Division. My boy also got me into the Highland Games too. ANIMAL. is one of the reasons I got into the strength game. Getting that Muscular Development mag and looking foward to the JOURNEY with Wrath. So I owe most of my motivation to that!
I had Strongman Saturday and this is how it went...
I warmed up with a little jump rope
Started with the stones at 48"...

310x miss... Almost had it at 48". I was too far away from the yoke, if I had been a little closer that would been a PR, but wouldve shouldve couldve dont cut it in strongman! Ill kill it next time!
And ended the day with...
Yoke 320# 4x100' (speed day)
Looking foward to highland tomorrow.. Going to throw some hammer, 56# for distance, and 28# stone for distance! FUN STUFF!
