So today was my second day back at lifting and I hit my legs HARD. God I forgot how good the intensity of a leg blasting feels. You almost feel like your somewhat insane for putting yourself through the hell of a hard ass workout. Man those dudes that look in the mirror and do bicep curls for 2 hours don't know what the fuck they're missing. I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction doing free weight heavy squats while the guy next to me slapped the shoulder padding on the smith rack and did his version of a squat. Yeah, the bar on your traps doesn't feel fuckin good but come on. Man up. Now I just have to figure out how to get up off the toilet in the morning. I'm looking forward to the pain that ensues tomorrow morning. Starting to find my animal mindset and it feels fucking great.
