I think it kinda sucks how only the top 5 are awarded. That leaves a lot of guys who just spent the last 3 months of their lives working their asses off for a No Placing. I can only imagine how that feels.....

I went to the Pre-judging and it was certainly not the strongest line-up. The top five looked good (I had never seen Haley in person before and he actually looked better than in pictures... big dude), but in my opinion, Samuel and Yamagishi could have been 1 and 2. Not to take anything away from Freeman (who is a great athlete and not an undeserving victor), I just thought those two brought their A-games. I'm glad Yamagishi qualified for the Olympia. He's pretty gnarly. I didn't go to the night show because it was obvious who the top 3 were, and in what order. Can't wait for next week to see Branch "lay waste" to the competition at the Arnold.

dude they are pros none the less sporting colossial bodies. Personally though it would suck to be in that rut of being a pro, but knowing that you are never going to be any of the top guys because of money, genetics and whatnot.

Most of my respect goes to every bodybuilder out there especially for those who arent the best and those who know they will never make it to the top. They bust balls, they do their best, and they do it for the challenge.
I was surprised that Yamagishi was not top 5 at the ironman he came in lookin real good.
