I got a secondhand strongman log from Denmarks strongest man, Rene Minkwitz. I thought it was a fun idea to fix her up nicely and rep the A wit hit. Used some old leftover spraycans and masking tape.
The camoflage is in tribute to the former owner; his nickname in strongman competitions was The Warrior. In tribute to MY ownership, what else could i do but put on the A in gold?

Here she is how i got her. I immidiately took off the carpet polstering. I like my battlescars, thank you =)

In progress: new basecoat, rustrproofing.

And here she is. All i need to do is clearcoat it. None too perfect, but i am happy with it anyways =)

Higamonster:

My log is not as big as yours, it appears.

9 inch diameter
50 inch length of the main tube
69 inch total length (main tube and loading pins)
25 inch distance between grips.

I estimate her to be at 70-80 lbs. I havent got a scale here, but i will know soon.

Cool man. No worries, I was just curious.
Looks great, and I agree that some Animal decals need to be sold on the store!

Your log is about the same size as mine. You have a better paint job, though.

Rene Minkwitz had already told me this was a smaller and lighter log then the one i was supposed to buy originally. He found it way more sensible to start with a smaller and lighter log as overhead press is something i need to work on. I agreed totally with him. And the pins leave plenty of room to put on plates soon enough =)
AND i can use it as a template if i want / need a bigger one in the future!

Kellee, just come on over the pond. I have plenty of room for you to stay for a few days. We can train together, i will cook the meals and i will paint your log, free of charge =))
Hows that for an offer?
Lol.
