Hey guys,
I've heard of certain EFAs, or perhaps a certain dosage causing inflammation. I believe NaturalGuy posted once on bodybuilding.com that he never takes Omega post workout. If I'm wrong please correct me.
Anyway, could someone please briefly educate me on how EFAs and inflammation work, and furthermore when is the best time to take Animal Omega?
thanks

You want a certain amount of inflammation postworkout as that fresh muscle damage triggers new growth. The arachidonic acid in Test increases inflammation and is one of the many reasons Animal Test is so effective.
That said, in general, for all health purposes, reducing inflammation is a good thing and Omega helps to do that. As such you should take Omega whenever you like over the course of your day, generally with a meal, but not in the immediate postworkout anabolic window.
Personally, I take 2 packs of Omega per day. One first thing in the AM with my morning supps and one right before bed with my pre-slumber supps.
Peace, G
Ive been taking Omega for about a year now. And while I cant say that Ive seen any benifits in the mirror like Stak has done I feel very healthy. I wonder why you dont see more about Omega or Flex. Its not in the Staking 101 at all and generally ignored for what I can tell.

Take a look at the 'Stack like an Animal' section of that booklet. Most of 'em have Pak, Omega, and Flex in there along with their other supplements. In my mind, products like Pak, Omega, and Flex should be in your arsenal 365, and not even considered 'supplements'.

No doubt man... Omega is one of my very favorite supplements and an absolute staple. Enhanced metabolism and hormone production plus better overall cardiovascular health. Can't beat it.

Omega is a staple. Timing wise, I don't really pay that much attention to it.

Like others Omega is a staple for me. There are times where I have run 2 packs per day however I won't take them post-workout. I take a pack with breakfast and if I do a 2nd pack it is with an evening meal.

Inflammation is an important part of building muscle, post-workout you don't want to stop it/slow it down. Maybe I am being anal about it but I think it's best to take it at a different time.

You don't want to take it post workout, for the same reasons you don't take aspirin or tylenol immediately afterwards... It reduces the inflammation too soon, and reduces growth capabilities... (In other words, what NG said... *LOL*) And, if you take Omega and Test, take them 12 hours apart, in order to get the full benefits of both...
