High school football, anyone?

Any current/former high school football players out there? If so, who'd you play for, what position did you play, etc?

I currently play for Notre Dame - West Haven in Connecticut. Just finished my freshman football season in November at starting left guard (started 10/10 games) and backup defensive tackle (never played defense in a game, hahaha). I was the smallest lineman I ever encountered on the freshman level at 5'6", 139 pounds back then, but my size was used to my advantage as my coaches had me pulling for 95% of my plays.

We went 9-1 and so did our JV, so both our JV and Varsity teams are going to be absolute killing machines this year.

If you're ever following Connecticut football, watch out for our freshman running back, Justin Willis. Nearly 1,800 yards with 19 touchdowns in 10 games, clocks a 4.45 forty yard dash, and went all state in track this year for the 4x2 relay and 55 yard dash.

My senior year, i was a kicker, i never got to kick but a few times because i didn't ever go to practice cause i was a soccer player and i had school soccer, and club soccer to deal with. but when i was just fucking around i hit a 54 yd field goal. i never went to practice because the practices were from i think 3:30-8pm or so. i just said fuck that. haha, so technically no i never was a player, i wish i was a wee bit taller so i coulda played linebacker or something.

ya i play football too. and im like the strongest on my team, cuz were a bunch of pussys. we also do that pull thing with the light lineman, its the backbone of our playbook. our star player was our running back, it was pretty much him and our linebacker/fast pulling guard who weighed about 160. i was as strong as both of them weighing about 180, now 195. our back could run 4.7 and weighed about 170 to 180. now there both gone, we are so fucked, time for me to step up, shit.

I was terrible behavior-wise in middle school and my grades weren't at their potential, so the parents shipped me up to West Haven. Football and starting training really got my act together. Only one cell phone detention this year, and I have straight A's although with a barely there C- in Algebra because I currently have the shittiest math teacher on the planet. Next trimester I'm getting back this nice old lady who is one of the best teachers I ever had, she got me a B+ last trimester.

Linebacker in junior high, then to tight end my freshman year of HS, then blew the fuck up and lost some speed, and moved to left tackle.

I played football, played nose tackle and right tackle, Got knocked out this summer and didn't get to play my senior year because the swelling in my brain wouldn't go down. I got into bodybuilding after that. been on 4 month cut. started out at 5'11 260 and i'm just getting down to 220. Anyway, our football team did alright, unfortunately Lufkin and The woodlands are in our district, 2 texas 5a football power houses. anyway we went 8-2 and lost in the first round of playoffs to the eventual state champ

i played back in my glory days...

started as a d end...then went to full back, then middle line backer and finally my bread and butter as a nose gaurd. Went all conference and made the all star team....

I play for port richmond hs in staten island.This year was my first playin football,i played offensive tackle,defensive end and middle linebacker.I played on the JV and i had 46 OL pancakes,17 tackles,3 sacs and started every game,now im gonna play on varsity next year.

Ya i wuz in ball of high skool my friend. bustin my ass everyday to be the best and it payed of. From southern cali in the small town of cypress my school won the CIF championship for the southern division and i wuz number 45, defensive end for my team. Known as the quarterback destroyer with 17 sacks i had a tremendous senior year. i love the game and wish to keep up with it and im glad u posted so i had somewhere to talk about it. hahaha i hope u enjoyed playin football as much as i did and keep it all rollin brother.
