For most, including myself, it began in awe. A glimpse of a physique so jaw dropping impressive, it inspired a spark in each of us. The spark of possibility. Over the years the spark grew into a flame which ignited a fire. The fire of the Animal. We eat, sleep, and live the life of a body builder. From the unknown to the famous, beginner to experienced, light weight to the heavy weights, the constant pursuit of perfection remains inherently identical. The iron taunts us as we sleep and screams as we train. The pain grows as the sickness rises. Soon the session is over and we feel success, only to wake tomorrow and walk the same path. This is the path of the Animal. This is the path that has no end.

for some people it also began as a personal conquest....a challenge to yourself. "i want to be able to lift 200 lbs on bench press."

then you reach it...and set yourself a new goal....gotta keep updating your goals in order to strive in this life.
