I started this two weeks ago but haven't been keeping logs here. So I'm starting from Week 03 onwards directly.
My Training Routine :
I read Animal Manual and customized my training routine. This is my first month of serious training in the gym. I workout 4 days a week.
Each exercise consists of 5 sets unless otherwise specified, with reps as 8,6,4,2, and half the weight of first set (with 8 reps) till failure.
**Monday : Chest/Biceps/Calves
CHEST:
1. Flat Bench Press
2. Incline Bench Press
3. Decline DB Press
4. DB Flies ( 2 sets * 12 reps)
BICEPS:
1. Barbell Curl
2. EZ Bar Preacher Curl

Man... today was strange. We had beef up at the gym, I mean I was just training with my partner and the gym where we train at just shifted to some other place, and it just became bullshit.
The free weights section was even smaller than my room, but there were 30 treadmills in house. It was plain shit.
I had to do stiff leg deadlift so I took the barbell downstairs in the cardio section, and the owner started saying that we can't train here with the barbell, made no sense. She even went as far as saying that go out in the terrace and train, so I was like so be it.
We were training and she started sayin' bullshit from behind, that sparked me up.
We fucked em up and we went to find another gym, down a few blocks and we've found a real hardcore gym there. Didn't complete our workout, but I learnt a lesson. No Pussy ass gyms from an Animal.
Today I hit my new gym for the first time. Well Wasn't quite in the mood but things soon started pumping up, and I was hitting my sets hard and proper.
Back. I gotta work a lot on my back. I can barely do pull ups. I did two sets of 8, with support from my buddy.
Then I hit bent-over row's,deadlifts,lat pulls,one arm rows, seated cable rows and good morning. Did 5 sets of each for 8,6,4,2, till failure reps, except for goodmorning, i did two sets of 8 for that.
The dead's were fuckin hardcore I did around 35 reps for 66 pounds, this set was till failure.
I lost my conscience and started training abs instead of calves. But then I became aware of this fact and quit doing abs. I was too tired already, so I went home.
This gym doesn't have the leg press machine, nor the hyperextension. But its no problem. Its better than most gyms since the equipement is pretty dope, but the dumbells are fail. They're some fancy shit with spongy grips.
The strange part was 90%+ people at the gym were watchin WWE lol. I was more focused on my workout.
I refrained from making talk with anyone, emphasizing on the staple ' shut the fuck up and train' animal style. This is one mistake i made at the last gym, i used to talk with everyone and not really focus on my workout.
I'm cool with anyone who's dedicated to this shit, but this gym, i didn't see even 1 guy dedicated and it had more than 30 guys workin' out, its more like a chillout place for them.
Next month i might move into a more hardcore kinda gym.
I weight 150 pounds with 20% body fat. I measured my biceps today the shit is just 14 inches lol.
I'm aiming at adding 16 pounds lean muscle and taking body fat % down to 15-16% in the next 8 weeks. then I'll be around 160 pounds.
I'm trying to be proactive and get things done on time.
Today I went to the gym on time scheduled, and without my training partner.
Its great that I don't have any dependency on people, or that I have little.
Did shoulders and triceps today. I haven't been eating too much but I did lose 2 pounds of body fat which is a good thing.
another day another dollar. no time to play, got my days planned out for the next 4 weeks.
i went to the gym at 9:05 pm, it closes at 9 30. who gives a fuck. there was work to be done. sipped on my green tea+gatorade mix, started hitting iron. warmed up with pull-over, some stretching, then my flat bench press, 5 sets, 8,6,4,2, till failure.
everyone left the gym, the lights were out except for 1 dim light in the corner.
the gym guy told me its time to go. I told him its time for me to workout.
shit it was fuckin' beautiful. serenity and solitude in the iron house, its like waking up to sunshine in the antarctic. i turned off the gym music, plugged in some lounge music on my earphones, and then hit some biceps barbell curls, 5 sets, again. did decline and incline, ended workout with concentration curls.
every fuckin' minute, is precious. i don't give a fuck if its time to close the gym. hell, it must have stayed open so many times previously. this is my way. i make no excuses for whatever the fuck i do.
I don't do it because its the right thing to do, because I do it, its the fuckin' right thing. welcome to my world. this is animal.
Squat till you puke. today was legs, and guess what son.. started out with squats. there isn't going to be nothing but a 100% from my side. so i gave it my all. did 7 sets, 6 for varied reps and the last one, all out till failure. must have done around 35 reps.
today i understood what 'squat till you puke' means. i was going to do leg extensions, and i just did one set and got up and started feeling uneasy. i was jokin with my homie cj that i might puke.
man... the feeling just came, i started feeling sick. man i wasn't liking it, but maybe i was excited i was gunna puke. lol. but i knew this excitement is stupid. i went out of the gym, took a walk, almost puked. but it didn't happen, i pulled myself together, felt a little better, but i was still pretty damn fucked up. i went back and started doing calves.
i wanted to do leg extensions and leg curls, but the machine was really fucked up man. i felt like i wasn't used to the new gym's equipment, i didn't give up and tried again, but some of the equipment is fucked up here. I was bein' proactive so i decided to look for alternatives, but i'll face the reality in the end that this gym isn;t the ideal place. i joined the gym in a rush.. well we learn from our mistakes brothers.. that's what its about. experiential learning.
i had to compromise my leg workout due to inferior gym equipment. the next gym i join though, i'll make everything is just about right for me to be on track.

Its fuckin' 3 06 am in the morning. While everybody else is having their shares of zzzz's, man I got shit to do. I gotta eat. Eat you ask? Fuck damn yeah, I gotta eat. 10 whole eggs, a big fucking bowl of oatmeal and half a kg of cottage cheese. Chances are, I'll puke it back. Shit if I do, I'll puke it in a blender, ...blend the motherfucker and drink it back. This is hardcore livin'. This is Animal.Can you handle it?

Ummm, yeah. Been there, done that <grin>. I cut 48 pounds for my contest in 24 weeks. Now I have to grow again. Add slabs, not flab.
That's why we're here, right?
Solid work on those legs. I've said before that bodybuilders and bulemics are the only people who smile when they puke.
yesterday was back. pretty intense shit.
I was in the zone when I entered the gym. Warmed up with a set of light weight squats, flat bench, lateral db raises, and stretching. even though the gym i joined seemed to be pretty dope, its kinda fucked up, even the bikes don't work. lol. the leg extension and curls is just stupid as fuck, almost injured my leg. there ain't no power rack either. but i can't complain. i should have checked for all this shit before i joined the gym. I'm not complaining, just stating reality. so I chose to be proactive, and looked for alternatives for warming up.
I can't do a wide pull up by myself. So my training partner assisted me as I tried my best. He assists me on the assent, a little bit. Then I begin a slow negative. I can do a chin up, but still working on wide grip pull ups. I managed to 6 of these with minimal support.
Then we loaded up the barbel for the deads. I love deads, but I had been doing them wrong till date. lol. I used to pull up from my lower back. bad idea. Now I've studied proper form for the deads. will practice the forms of all my exercises on an off day. I followed my 8,6,4,2,to failure for deads. I also did single lifts to increase strenght, and I finished of with deadlifting 220 pounds for 1 rep.
Then some bend over barbell rows. these are the shit. but I lose my form.
After this I did some lat pull downs.

Haha. I'm still learning to eat man. I've stopped counting the calories and shit, for atleast 2 months. I'm gaining, so I'm trying to eat as much as I can. All I'm eating is Oatmeal, cottage cheese, milk, yoghurt, rice, boiled potatoes, steamed veggies, spinach, spouts, salad, and wheat bread
I've stopped with eggs and non veg because my GI tract is fucked up, i don't know why. So I'm going to refrain from the shit for 14 days. I still get my protein from yoghurt,milk and cheese, around 140 grams of protein. I also get some from my oatmeal and spouts of pulses, atleast 20 grams. so that's around 160 grams a day.
I'm 147 pounds at 19-20 % bodyfat, so I'm around 118 pounds of lean muscle.

You might try to find some digestive enzymes to help with your GI tract. I know sometimes, with the amount of protein I eat, it can get chancy, so I just take 'em all the time.
I'm currently 216, at about 10%, or about 196 lbs. of lean muscle -- much less than I'd like.
I had an awesome legs workout on sunday. I pushed up my leg press to 242pounds/110kg for 2 reps. last time I did 220 pounds for 2 reps. My squat on the smitty went up a notch, and my leg extensions considerable went up. I'm progressing steadily, but obsessionally i fuck up, I have my shit in order, my sleep my training and my diet, but sometimes I tend to get intoxicated. I don't drink or no shit, but even worse, i tend to light one up every 10-12 days, and when i do, i smoke atleast 2 cigarettes. I know its kinda fucked up, but giving up to the emotion of the moment, guess I'm still a kid. I have no regrets of posting this up here, I'm just telling you like it is. However, I know that it has to go and it will go. And I think the only way to do this is by keeping myself busy all the time.

Thanks -- I'm working on it. I got seriously pwned at my competiton last month. The guy who took both my classes (Over 50 and Novice Heavyweight) easily outmassed me by a good 20 lbs. of lean muscle. I have a LOT of work to do.
Depending on what you're eating, you may need more than is in Pak -- just sayin'.
NEW GAINING DIET :
I got myself Animal Pak, Pump, Nitro and M-Stak. I also got 2 gainers, On's procomplex and ultimate's musclejuice 2600. I also got creapure's creatine. Even with taking Animal Pak, I'll take an addition multivitamin+trace element + minerals pill called Supradyn with my meal before I workout.
I plan to load creatine and maintain it for 2 weeks before starting Animal Pump.
I have a question, since this is my first time using any Animal product, should I stack all the 4 together, or should I stack first cycle with either M-Stak or Pump.
I'm planning to do cycle 1 with Pak,Nitro and Pump, then second with Pak,Nitro and M-Stak.
I weigh 150 pounds with 19% bodyfat.
