i dont post much but i read the threads alot. in case you dont recognize me.
i was just curious as to how any of you have had to deal with one of the worst things that can happen to your training, 1 of the 2 BIG Is', "illness" the other being injury, the 2 things that will set you back further than anything.
i was going good, right on the shooting mark of a 315 bench at 175lb, 405 dead and a 365 squat. i know this doesnt sound like much to the guys on here as this kinda weight is probably what you use to prop the door open with at your gym, but it is my goal to get the 3-4-5, 300 bench(already done that working on 315) 400 squat and 500 dead before i am 40 (in 9 months),
then i came down with some type flu,aches, chills,joint pain,almost shit my brains out(too much info i know). so layed off all supplements,had to lay out of the gym and couldnt eat for a couple days. i actually fasted for 24 hours. still drank a gal. of distilled water and some gatorade,had to take ibuprofen and some herbs,but it got clered up tis mornming. so i was out for 5 days. still makes me nausous to eat or even drink my calories,so i know i will be out a couple more days.
i would like to hear of anyone else who has run into this and how you jumped back into it,to get caught back up. how did it effect you??
will try to get back in the gym and on a regular eating and supplement routine on sun.
