Has anyone tried Tnation's Ibodybuilder program? how were ur gains & experience of it?

Also can some please explain me this 'Perfect Rep' concept...as far as i can understand u lift the weight as hard as possible & lower as fast as possible???? wouldnt that be just momentum lifting the weights for you??? you can refer below link of thier website:

personally, i think, building muscle can never be Rocket Science...and Ibodybuilder takes the cake when it comes to bullshit in bodybuilding world.... but then thats my opinion... i want to know what my fella animals think?

i think CT is a good strength coach

i think the program is too complicated for what its worth. id rather take a basic split and make progress on it. its worked for years...and we have bodies like arny, ronnie coleman, branch warren ect....that is good enough for me

I'd try IBB if i had access to the equipment neccesary(no power cage available)
looks like a good programme worth a shot...
i agree with his ramping and activation techniques CT has created and believe in his autoregulation theory..

to say that BBing isnt (rocket) science is a bold statement...sure the tried and tested methods of the past work & work well, but thats not saying that there cant be improvement on these principles...and just because it works for the pros, doesnt mean itll work for u, unless u r at a pro level as well, in fact, some pros workouts can leave a natty feeling overtrained and injured...tit for tat i spose...

why dont u check out some of the logs for the programme on the T-nation site?

very good program. Make sure you use explosive form. Having access to a cage is necessary. I like it because for some weeks you can specialise on one body part. You will hit PRs guaranteed.

From most of your replies, it appears that no one has prior experience of this program,,, and i guess not many had even heard of it...

hey Ronald..have u tried it? if so can u explain me the concept of this perfect rep?

for those who say its good for strenght probably coz it very low rep based...the authors claimed huge mass gains on test subjects, plus being marketed for muscle gain not strength...

I personally know Christian, Kevin and Alex.... all québeckers. CT is really technical when it comes to training.. you can learn from him.

Kev is one of my best friend... I used to train with him before he went to colorado!

Low reps = Strenght + mass

The perfect rep is basically lifting as explosively as you can. No slow negative, fast turnaround. You still need to control the rep but it has to be fast. Start with lower weight your first week. Think Ronnie Coleman or Jay Cutler ( they use very explosive style, no emphasis on negative) as opposed to Dorian Yates.

CT also likes his olympic moves.

I follow the T Nation regularly. Have been incorporating Thibs' training principles for quite some time now. Let me tell you that it is very much effective. Considering the basics he has himself built his base around these lifts only- bench press, squats, deadlift etc. and he has an awesome physique to show for which at the same time is high performance too. The supplement protocol which they 'push' with this program...i don't know. too expensive.. but the intra workout shit works man. His main focus is always on CNS. He believes that recovery of neural system is the most imp thing in a body. If one is able to prime their neural network and recover faster then the gains will come faster. If you sit back, read his articles and incorporate some of it you may find it refreshing and productive too. I know I did.
Thibs while being very innovative is quite old school. Most of his philosophies come from very old literature (like early 19th century or somethin') on strength training. I do agree that his articles are somewhat technical but you gotta READ to get a hang of it.
And the dude has an awesome build but also very strong..-)

And yes ANTOINE I've seen some of your vids with KEVIN on you tube. Sick workouts bro.

& id have to agree with him in this regard...monitoring ones CNS is imperative to progression...

oh yeah, love how this thread got a 1 star rating...what bullshit...
