what can i do for lower tricepts? cable pull downs only work the outer.
incorporate everything in to your tris workouts....CGBP works best for me...dips, diamond pushups. ranger pushups, db overhead ext. skull crushers..all of em.

basically just like the person above me said... don't just focus on one part of the tricep... hit the whole thing... for me personally seated dips, skullcrushers, and tricep pushdowns are what really builds up my tris
close and wide grip reverse tri cable pull downs...super set them together....I go assending and desending and bang them up with rope pull downs...then shoot to narrow grip smith bench....did this last night and was barely able to brush my teeth this morning....

Whoever told you that is misinformed. Don't worry about shaping, plus you're still young focus on getting in good foods, hitting the basics hard and building up a solid foundation.
try some close grip benches, that overloads your tri's. and fuck do they feel good after.
also with what NICKSP has said in the past (or i think it was him). whats your BF%? you may have the muscle but your fat could just be over it. hit that cardio to help lower that BF% and you'll be suprised to what you may see.

to add mass and thickness i do close grip,dips,skull crushers then finish um off with pushdowns
