I am going to start using Agent O the first workout after I recieve it. I can't wait.

Some background:

I compete in powerlifting in the 220 lb weight class. My last meet I went 580/345/540 for a 1465 raw total. I compete again on November 6th (or 7th) for R.a.w. United where I hope to total raw elite for 220 lbs (1551), but I would love to crush that number. My training has been going great so far in my meet prep. This Agent O has came at a great time, I am getting to the end of my training cycle where things are going to get a little heavier.

Day 1 of Agent O: Heavy Bench

Let me start off by saying I have been feeling beat up lately. I drank my Agent O about 20-25 minutes before I got into my workout. Today I just felt off, and I think it is a bad way to judge my first experience with Agent O. I managed to hit a tiny PR today, but I was just not feeling it.

How I felt today-

Energy: 6/10

Focus: 5/10

Intensity: 5/10

Performance: 6/10

Fatigue: 7/10 (Meaning I didn't get too fatigued)

Strength: 6/10

NOTES: I am going to have to drink it with a little less water. After I mixed it, I realized it was 7 oz of water, not 5 oz. I really felt like it kicked in right away and I was ready to go, but as soon as I started lifting I just crashed.

My workout:

Bench-work up to 286x1, 308x1, 319x1, 336x1, 347x0, 347x1 (PR), 319x2 +1 assisted, 299x5

Green band pushdowns-4 sets, 15-25 reps

Tate presses-3x10 @ 55 lbs

I was running short on time, so my workout was shorter then usual, but that is probably a good thing based on how I felt today. I hit my 347 when I widened my grip less than an inch. Cool I guess.

I have a day of rest tomorrow, so on Friday I will be back to normal, where I can make the most out of my Agent O.

In for this boom. How was the taste/mixability?

Ah yeah, I forgot to come back and post this (I thought about how I left this part out a little bit after I made my post)

It mixed very easy. I shook it up in one of those sport bottles, and poured it out into a small glass without any left over powder that needed to be mixed. It didn't taste great, but didn't taste bad either. Let's just say it's tolerable.

How I felt today-

Energy: 8/10

Focus: 9/10

Intensity: 9/10

Performance: 9/10

Fatigue: 8/10 (Meaning I didn't get too fatigued)

Strength: 9/10

Today was way better. I wasn't sure if it was a mental thing or not on Wednesday, so I didn't mention it. But as soon as I drink Agent O, I feel like I get heated and a burst of energy immediately, but it goes away quickly. Same thing happened today. I was really motivated today, not sure if Agent O had anything to do with it. I do feel like I crashed a little. Before my 601 set I was yawning a little out of nowhere. The taste wasn't bad with less water, so I am happy about that. I do feel like I am pretty tolerant to stimulants, so I might not be getting a full effect out of Agent O like others do.

Today: Squats

Squats-work up to 478x1, 516x1, 544x1, 573x1, 601x1

601 was not high this week. Today basically went like this:

My plan was to do a triple with 88% and a set of 5 with 82% of 600. But I got thinking...if I wait until next week to hit 600 again, I would have one day of rest until my heavy deadlifting day. And I felt great today. 478 was a smoke show, then I did 516 easy...but I cut it a little for some reason. Then I sunk 544...easy. Then I cut 573 and it flew up easy... then with 601 I sunk it, and probably grinded out a 7 second rep.

Anyways:

GHR, abs

Prowler-1 empty prowler trip with high handles, 6 high handle trips with 90 lbs

A 601 squat?!?! Damn. I hate you - just sayin'...

Agent O is awesome stuff so far.

Haha, and it was below parallel this time!

Yeah it seems to be good... hopefully I can find if it is really working throughout the next training sessions.

Yesterday I went in and did DE Bench..kind of. Didn't get to any assistance work or anything because my right shoulder was sore and I had a pain in my bicep/elbow area. I figured it would be smart to skip it and let it heal. I took Agent O beforehand, but it was obviously a waste because I didn't really get to train due to the nagging pains. For the record...it didn't seem to have an effect on me.

Today: Deadlifts

Conventional deadlift-490x1, 528x1, 561x1 (PR)

Sumo deadlift-work up to 515ishx1

WG lat pulldown-2x10, 1x8

V bar lat pulldown-3x8

CS DB rows-3x10 @ 50 lbs

Abs, GHR, Prowler (1 empty high handle trip, 5 high handle 90 lb trips)

So it looks like I am a conventional puller. I guess these last 16 weeks pulling sumo weren't for nothing since I pulled a 21 lb PR conventional. I also had more in the tank. Next week I am going to hit 573 which will hopefully be my 2nd attempt at my meet.

How I felt today-

Energy: 7/10

Focus: 7/10

Intensity: 7/10

Performance: 9/10

Fatigue: 5/10 ...for some reason the prowler wiped me out today.

Strength: 8/10

I felt pretty normal today, as Agent O didn't give me any type of kick. I did start to get tired halfway through my workout again, I am not sure if that is the Agent O making me crash or what.

How I felt today-

Energy: 7/10

Focus: 8/10

Intensity: 8.5/10

Performance: 8/10

Fatigue: 7/10 ...not too fatigued, but got tired

Strength: 8/10

I think I am really tolerant to stimulants. Agent O gives me a warmish feeling when I drink it, but it's gone immediately. I don't feel any different during my workout, but I am still "crashing" mid workout. I just get tired out of nowhere, even though I had no previous stimulant effects....sorry Universal!

Today: Heavy Bench

Bench-264x3,286x1,308x1,325x1,350x1 (PR), 362xmiss, 356xmiss,319x3,300x6(PR)

...The misses felt light in my hands, but for some reason I kept pushing it back too early and flaring early.

DB Floor Press-75x10, 75x10, 75x12

Tate Press-60x15, 60x15, 70x15

Abs

I had two workouts during the downtime of the forum. I had a squat day and a deadlift day...one pack of Agent O=same as above. It really hasn't done anything for me. BUT, I read a post of Hercules' where he said people have been taking two packs. So I gave that a try today:

Bench: work up to 320x3, 300x6

Tate Press-65x10, 75x10, 80x10

Pushdowns

I was down on time and I will be cutting my workouts shorter leading up to the meet anyways.

But the two packs=way better then one pack, as it actually had an effect on me.

Energy: 9/10

Focus: 9/10

Intensity: 9/10

Performance: 9/10

Fatigue: 10/10 ...no fatigue

Strength: 9/10

Everything was great today, it's too bad today wasn't a bigger day in terms of numbers. I noticed the "tingles" from that beta alanine stuff that I have always heard about. I have never had this before with Agent O. My energy was high, and I didn't feel any type of crash. So I am thinking about going two packs a training session for now on, because one pack does not do anything/makes me crash.

Nice, boom. Maybe 2 packets is the way to go. I wonder how this will be sold to the general public - packets (like Nitro G) or in a tub with a scoop. If more than one packet is the 'sweet spot', then I hope they sell it in a tub.

mritter3

i bet it will come in packets...like the old nitro g...but hey a tub would be cool as well.

Same as last training session. 2 packs is the way to go.

All I did today was hit my opener (545) for squats, it was really smooth/light feeling. I also did the GHR, abs, and prowler.

I felt thing "tingles" again from the beta alanine. It is kind of annoying, but I feel great during training so I just dealt with it. I have 4 more packs, so enough for the remaining two real training sessions I have before my meet...perfect.

Today: Deadlift opener

Opener is 525. Easy.

Then I did upper back work and prowler.

Energy: 8/10

Focus: 7/10

Intensity: 7/10

Performance: 10/10...I did what I wanted to do

Fatigue: 10/10 ...no fatigue

Strength: 8/10

Today was laid back in the gym. The atmosphere wasn't in "full training mode" because we are all going light or deloading because we all have a meet this weekend or next weekend...this caused the "intensity" and focus to go down for me, but I did what I wanted to do. Took two packs again, and felt the same annoying tingles. Wednesday is my last day.

J Wong

Today: Bench opener

Easy 325. Then an easy 353 off a 2 board.

Friday is a squat deload. Sunday is just some accessory stuff for upper body. Meet is next Sunday.

Energy: 8/10

Focus: 9/10

Intensity: 9/10

Performance: 10/10

Fatigue: 10/10

Strength: 10/10

Today was the last day of Agent O. Took two packs again. I felt my strongest in awhile today on my bench. I hit my opener easily, then a few lbs higher then my 2nd attempt off a 2 board very easily. The "tingles" were very annoying today, but I had great energy/strength.
