View Full Version : pain in shoulder when i flex
the pain is located just above the front delt not limiting any movement,doesnt hurt too much but dont know what it is.doesnt hurt when i move only hurts when i do the most muscular pose.any one know what this could be?and when i flex the traps i feel it.i woke up with it so it didnt happen directly from the gym.

Maybe you slept on it wrong? How long have you had it?

Maybe acromioclavicular joint(AC joint) inflammation. If you do alot of pressing movements this can occur, it is quite common. If ignored and not allowed to rest it is possible to seperate/tear the joint, this happened to me, had my second shoulder surgery a few years back.
Might just be tendon inflammation , too. Give it some rest, see what happens. I'm no doctor, just sharing personal experience....

Ice is the best option, can cure the worst of injuries if used properly.
