View Full Version : Customizing different deadlifts for different days

Im just wondering if anyone else does this.Ive been doing different dead lifts to suit my particular workout.For my back days i do them from the knee to mainly keep focus on the back.On leg days i do stiff legged deads to hit my hamstrings,i also throw in some full versions on either leg or back days depending on how i feel.

I sometimes do Standard DLs on back day and RDLs on leg day.

When doing a bodybuilding split....
Back Day - Traditional Deads, Rack Pulls.
Leg Day - SLDL's, RDL's.

Thats what I do,. I used to pull sumo more often but with recovery I had a hard time including them in a bodybuilding split. They really worked in an upper/lower or fullbody workout better for me.
