Mental sedation. What better term to describe the world around. It seems as if everywhere I turn I am bombarded with ignorance, hate, and intolerance. To be given such a precious gift as this life only to squander it by embracing the chains that bind our thoughts is surely a most heinous crime. Day in and day out, the mass populace is spoon fed what they believe to be reality and accept it without so much as a second thought. Such is life, some would say. I say bullshit. Who are you to judge what I do, while you are blinded to the multitude of truths set about you by your own choice? What makes you think that you are even worthy of weighing my life against your own? Sorry buddy, but you're not even in my league. Hell, I'm nowhere near the perfect person, nor do I claim to be. What sets me apart from the rest of you blissful simpletons has not to do with my intellectual capacity, but my courage to face the truth. I consider myself a very tolerant and accepting person, but willful ignorance is one thing I will never condone. I feel your stares and your blind hatred like a mosquito on my arm. One that I would smash into the earth if you were more than a simple annoyance. When you see me at the gym, or on the street, do not make the mistake of assuming I am as foolish as you. You have every right to hate me, 'cause unlike everyone else you bullshit, you ain't foolin' me, 'bro'.
