Hi bros! I was wondering if anyone could relay the BEST time to factor in cardio. Before weightlifting or after? or do them on non-lifting days. thanks.

I would do it on Non-training days as it helps move more blood around your body = aids recovery.

On my on days, I do cardio After all my workout, It really helps n I personally think that doing cardio after ur exercise is really useful to get the best of cardio!

N Off days, are a really good time to do cardio also!

It depends on what your goals are. If you are not cutting, I would suggest on lifting days post workout and maybe once on the weekend. If you are cutting weight, then first thing in the morning or post workout except on leg days.

After your workout otherwise you will be trashed for weights. I never really give cardio a day as i feel a solid weights session followed by a fairly quick 3-5mile run keeps the heart running overtime for long enough!

I'm looking for muscle gain and bulk......so it'll be best to do it AFTER weightlifting right?

The duration is usually specific to your goals, but 30 minutes generally does the trick.

Like Nix says, about 30 minutes will do. Personally I would do 30 minutes of low intensity keeping the heart rate between 110-120 bpm, but that is just me!! Experiment and see what you like best.

thanks for the input bros! since i've started doing cardio after weightlifting, i've done it for 15 minutes, thats everyday. is that an ok amount? or still increase it to 30 mins.? I could do 30+ easily on off-days or little non-lifting days.
