Me and a buddy of mine switched up our routine a little bit this past week and started doing the workout that the U. Of Michigan football team uses. It's definately one of the wildest workouts I've ever been apart of (this comin from a former wrestler who used to do 45 minute grinder matches and survived the JRob camp). It's a lot of static holds and manual reps and just totally cuts you up. I definately reccomend it.

I began my lifting career with a book by a friend of the guy who invented H.I.T training. My terrible memory has made me forget the man's name but maybe someone can help me out.. But I started this lifestyle with reading that book. Never looked back since and soon found Animalpak from a friend one day during a workout at my school gym. DEFINETLY never looked back since that day. Been getting bigger, stronger, faster since I began to incorporate H.I.T ideaology with Animal ATTITUDE

Isn't HIT like one set a week per muscle group or something? If that's the case I'll pass. And I think you might be talking about Mike Mentzer (the guy who popularized it...).

you might be talking about the book The New High Intensity Training by Ellington Darden. this book got me into serious lifting, and then i also found animalpak.com. been going strong for about a year and a half now. good book, but i just recently switched to a split routine. wanted something different from the whole body workouts.

Phd. Ellington Darden is the author that worked closely with the godfather of HIT Aurthor Jones(Nautilis mainman) . I recommend any of his books. I didn't get much results but defiantly apply those princepals to my training to this day. I can tell you some more info if you haven't already took out all books at the library.
