Hey guys just thought i would stop in and say i won my 1st meet of the year yesterday. Im in the 169 pound weight class. my closest competition was 60 pounds behind. I pause benched 270 and clean & jerked 255. Thats ok but itll b better by the time i go to states...Gotta give props to Animal who helped push me over the top.

Bench press and clean & jerk are the 2 lifts you do in highschool powerlifting. Its through the school and you compete against other schools in your area then you can make it to states if your strong enough. This is just florida. I dont know about other states. You get 3 total attempts for each lift.
Oh ok, thats cool your school does that, my school didnt even have a gym. Best of luck dude

Badass job YoungDeisel! I wish we had opportunities like that when I was in H.S. Animal gave you the supps and the know-how, but I see you've got the drive, the most important part. Keep on, brother.
