OK, so I'm an old guy and my joints have been screaming at me a bit more lately. I did squats with bands today and my knees were cursing at me on every rep. I'm looking to get some good knee sleeves but I'm at a point where I just don't know what kind to get. I have Rehand elbow sleeves (the 5mm ones) and they're great. I'm debating on whether to get the 7mm Rehbands (the blue ones available at Jackal’s Gym), the 5mm Rehbands, or some TKs. The dilemma is really about cost vs. effectiveness. The TKs are obviously the cheapest, but I also want to be sure they're effective at keeping my joints warm and ready to lift. The Rehands are effective but do they warrant the extra cost? I've searched the FORVM and other sites multiple times and could not find any definitive answers. Any advice would be great.

I can tell you from my experience that TK's are great, but they wear out VERY quickly. However, many people I've run into with the blue Rehbands have said they have had theirs for years. Compared to my TK's which I've had for less than a year and they're all ready missing pieces.

Here is a link to the knee sleeves that work the best for me!

The blue ones I wore today are great. They are a little pricey, but they are perfect for me. I did have a pair for about a year and the stitching ripped on the back of one, but lots of people said that is very rare. It might have just been bad luck on my part.

I have the blue Rehbands and they help a lot but I have not tried others to compare.

I've had my TK Knee Bands for over a year and are perfect and work wonderfully. If you buy them, follow this advice:
Always put them on when you are completely dry. If they are still a little hard to get on, sprinkle some talc or baby powder on your legs, this will take away from the stick.
Fold the bands in half before putting them on.
Always use your thumb and forefinger to pull the bands up, never touch them with your nails. As you're pulling, go inch by inch, don't just try to pull them up.
Once the half folded band is just about at the top of your knee cap, unfold it to the top of your knee, and have the design on top of your knee.
Once you take them off, rinse them immediately with cold water as to wash the sweat off.
These are the best knee sleeves around. I got a pair of Rehbands a while back, but I never use them anymore. TK Bands are the way to go. They keep my knees SUPER warm. When it comes to my warmups, after 1 or 2 sets, my knees are sweating like crazy. Feels awesome.

Ditto, they've served me well enuff and to the point that I don't look at buying anything else.
