weird sprain

anybody ever get a sacroiliac joint sprain? i recently got one doing heavy squats and it was diagnosed by a doctor after several days of pain. i figured i tore an ass muscle which was causing the dull pain and the resulting tightness in my lower back..seems like a weird "joint" to sprain considering its basically like spraining your pelvis

I have had issues with my SI joint... I would have to lie on the floor, have someone hold my feet (that way they were even) and I would have to sit up, straight legged to get relief.... Not sure if it was a "sprain" or what, but a friend was going through PT school and she helped me out with it...lol
