i like to slice up some potatoes and boil them for a little while just to get them a little softer, and then throw them in a skillet with some olive oil and fry them. I always put some spices on them as well. parsley, maybe some garlic, pepper and salt. usually throw in some onions with those as well and eat a hamburger steak. your getting enough carbs from the potatoes. should probably leave out the bread
i use sweet potatos i cut the bad boys up soak for a little bit than i take out the deep fryer using extra extra virgin olive oil make sure you heat the oil to like 500 degrees or some un godly heat and flash fry them it will keep them from soaking up the oil

Yeah you gotta watch how hot you get the olive oil. My mother had a pan ignite before...Was fuckin halarious.
no i use a damn deep fryer one of the huge ones and just flash fry the little bastards
sweet potato fries:
preheat oven to 400
wash sweet potato
leaving skin on cut into sections the long way
spread out on baking sheet
drizzle on a little olive oil or flax oil, salt and pepper (leave out salt if you are limiting sodium)
bake until soft, about 20-25 min
turn oven up to broil and continue to cook for one or two min, until they firm up and start to turn brown in spots
these are def something to try!

I like to eat mine home-style "style".
1-2 potatoes diced
1tbsp olive oil ( Pam even works, little generous with it though )
Toss the taters into the pan and just pan fry em.
After mine get nice and crispy I usually just pour my eggs right on top of them and cook the eggs with the potatoes. Add a little low fat cheese and some turkey bacon chopped up.
Its some good shit.
This could work for burgers too. Cook a burger and have some home-style fries with it. Maybe even brown some beef, make some home-style fries and combine them both with some Sloppy Joe sauce. Man now thats some good fucking eats.

well I've never been a fan of sweet potatos for some reason but I just made some of these up for the first time and they're great. Little ketchup and they're just like regular baked fries.
By the way, don't know how much you guys nit-pick on your diets but I'm sure some of you do a lot (just like me) So I thought I'd just point out a ketchup to go with these and other things. As you know most all ketchups have a list of ingredients a mile long filled with words like High Fructose Corn Syrup. Well in the 3 grocery stores I go to there is only one brand that I've been able to find without the HFCS (no healthfood stores by me). It also has a short list of ingredients. It's the relatively "new" Heinz Reduced Sugar Tomato Ketchup. Ingredients: Tomato Concentrate made from red ripe tomatoes, distilled vinegar, salt, onion powder, spice, Sucralose(which is another name for Splenda) and natural flavoring. Tastes great and it's a little thicker. Only drawback is it doesn't come in huge bottles yet.
Here is one that I learned from a wrestler in high school.
Take potatos cut um peel, whatever you want. Put them in a lil salt water, then take like 3 egg whites and put them in a bowl, take the potatos and coat them with the egg whites, then put on a pammed baking sheet and cook at like 425(reheat) for 20mins on each side. Season to taste.
U get not only the potatos but some egg whites too.
Flipping is key.

I cut up red potatoes into wedges, spray them with Pam, season them with seasoned salt or just salt and pepper, then bake them for 20-30 min. at 400. Works great for me.
Hi, here in Belgium we eat allot of french fries, they where invented in Belgium, but everybody calls it french fries??? You take patatoes peel and cut them in litlle sticks, You need to boile them twice in oil... THe first time at 160° celcius for a few minutes(just to get them soft). After that you need to boile them at 180° celcuis just till they get nice gold brown... Once you have eaten your own fries, you never want fries out of a frezer
