The question has been raised of whether we will ever see a 1,000 pound raw squat. I believe that we will see it very shortly. But i wanted to put this incredible feat in perspective; only 12 men have ever made the lift in competition.

This list is NOT CURRENT, it is dated 8/8/10, and list all of the 900 pound raw squatters, knee wraps allowed. The only one i remember since this list is Malinchev's new All Record of 992, and of course, this weekend may change things again. If anyone knows of any others please post it up. I will try to get a copy of the current list if it is still being kept.

I thought WWE was just bullshitting about Mark Henry actually being the strongest man in the world. Well he actually isn't but he is one of the strongest men in the world. He is just built for power with those short arms and legs and humongous frame.

Don Reinhouldt and Jon Cole are badasses, they were in the earliest televised World's Strongest Man competitions.

That is a crazy, freakish list.
