View Full Version : INFO: "The Henchmen": Who They Are
Fellas we're always on the lookout for members who can help us hold it down in The Forvm. We're gonna be looking for solid brothers who can work alongside the Watchmen and provide them with support... Members who make solid contributions day in and day out. While you will not have "mod" powers, you will earn "The Henchmen" title along with the privilege of displaying a special avatar. Your job will be simple--to lead by example and shape the direction of the Forvm itself. To guide members and to answer basic questions. We encourage members to PM a Henchman if you have any basic forum questions. Next in line would be a Watchman, and last but not least for absolutely pressing issues PM me, J-Dawg. From this group of Henchmen we will draw our future Watchmen. So if you're interested, put your name in the hat. Until then, the Watchmen will be watching...
Qualifications
To be even considered as a Henchmen you must be a member in "good standing" (e.g, no infractions and no bans). Henchmen status is not necessarily permanent. To remain a Henchmen, you must stay active and continue to contribute on a regular basis.

I don't seek acceptance or special treatment,Hell! it's a miracle to even be understood...but I stand proud as a member of the Iron Brotherhood. It is not a religion; not just a way of life; it is so much more...it's the knowledge deep deep down in my cold and ice-covered heart that tells me without a shadow of a doubt - I BELONG!
You cannot hear it, You cannot see it, but by God!! If You are privileged and blessed, You WILL feel it...the animalistic instinct, the raw power of IT's calling...
WE ARE FEW, but We are strong - and when the End is near, and battle lines are drawn...We will stand tall with our swords held ready. I will be on that field with the bitter cold wind and rain blowing in my face, and the bitter taste of hate and revenge fuelling the intense raging furnace in my body that will never see me cold or defeated;my fellow Brothers and Warriors stand beside Me.
We are a line that will not, CANNOT be crossed or broken... YOU are the Chosen One's, YOU know who You are.... Stand tall, stand Proud and Be Ready! To YOU -it may be the Legion but to Me....it is my Family,my Fate, my Destiny and my HONOUR.

Shit, my hat is in. Ever since Wrath started his Journey, I've been right there, following along every step of the way, taking inspiration and ideas for my own Journey. It's been a tough road, and I'm nowhere near where I want to be yet, but I must drive on, as always. I've got a lot of knowledge stored in this brain-bucket, although I'm sure not as much experience as others here. Lifting weights is the easy part...the fun part. Nutrition is the hardest, and still something that I have a tough time with (usually due to financial issues). As for drive and desire? Shit....all I have to do is look at someone bigger or stronger. Someone more cut than me. I look at those who are on a level higher than me and I have this insane drive to become bigger, stronger, more ripped, than anyone. When I look in the mirror I can't help but analyze myself, and I'm always the worst critic of myself. This drives me to work even harder. When my girl says "Damn baby, your shoulders are fucking sexy!" it gives me that desire to keep going, to grow, to cut, to lift, to do all the things that I love to do. Well shit, now I've gone off topic again. Suffice to say....my hat is in.

I'd like to, and I plan on being here quite a bit. However, I'm still relatively new to the game, and I don't feel like I've earned the right yet. I'll build up some cred on the boards (and some muscle as well), and then throw my hat in. Until then, I'm looking forward to being a regular here, and participating in the discourse.

You are right Dawg. For those in this forum, we speak a different language. A language of dedication, commitment, and self-sacrifice. Many times we have to pass on things we would like to do, but we never pass on what we love. When it is in your blood, it drives you. After devoting so much time and effort reach a goal you never though possible, the reward is immeasurable. You reach a point where guilt can become a motivation. When you get there, it is signifigant. No I won't skip the workout today, no I won't blow off cardio, no I won't eat that entire pizza today. If I do these things I will pay later. One step forward, two steps back? No freakin way man! As with life and something worth doing,

I've come along ways since I started at 180 lbs to my current 275 lbs @ 6'1". I have alot of knowledge on types of training and dieting for different goals, but at the same time am always ready to learn and try new things. If I can help in any way, let me know.

Quick update fellas...
We've just selected our first members of The Legion. There were many to choose from but we're only starting out with one Legionnaire/subforum. Now here's something to keep in mind... Just b/c a Legionnaire was picked to specialize in a certain section, it doesn't mean that's the only section they should focus on. We picked guys who have different strengths i.e, some might know more about the Packs or Diet but should still continue to post in any section they want. So here's what we kept in mind while voting... Quality of posts, content of posts, knowledge, experience, helpfulness to others, upholding the Animal ethos... Ideally, we wanted guys who are on often, not seldom. There are many deserving guys who will be added to The Legion as time goes on. We always have our eyes open for new members, so keep the solid posts coming.

would definately be interested in helping out. im a college student that spends most of my time, in and out of class, reading about lifting. also working on becoming a personal trainer in my freetime. Though I have not been personally involved (until now) in the arts and science of powerlifting. I have alwayas been indirectly involved. My brother started lifting at 16 years of age and has competed successfully in West Pal Beach.

If you are in the Legion, you should do your part to keep this forum clean of trash, and let those who post it know whats up, and that it won't be tolerated.
Lets not let this place become like every other forum. Lets keep it full of only the Men/Women who want/need to exceed the previous day, in lifting and life.
