View Full Version : Finally I am a 1%er A Competitive Bodybuilder: The next Goal!!!

First off I am excited afrter all these yrs saying I was a Bodybuilder, but knowing I had not made the step up to what it means to be a Bodybuilder, I have tackled that one lifelong goal and did it with gusto. I stepped out on Stage with a great field of Athletes ( abviously way bigger and tighter than I was, to the point I did not think I had any chance on this NPC Stage), but I held my own and earned the obvious respect of my fellow Competitors, the show Promoter, all of the backstage crew. I was made to feel that I was a member of everyones family. the girls were hugging me and cheering me on, the guys were shaking my habd and giving me support. At one point after the show when everyone was telling me I looked awesome and did a great job and enrtertained ect I had tears in my eyes because these people had no idea who I was or anything about me. They did not care about that, they truly enjoyed meeting me and showed that in thier passion that they extended to me. God I love this Sport with all my heart, this may be the reason I have so many top athletes in my corner rooting for me and offering to help me get to the next level. They tell me they see a passion for the purity of this Sport and it excites them to be around me ( this is amazing to me ).

Well enough gibbly **** about my first show.

I have scheduled ( if finances come around and I can pull it off) 4 more shows that I plan to attempt this yr.
1. 2011 Copper classic in Tuscon Az April 16. A Pro qualifier ( 1st opportunity to win my Overall Sword and maybe even my ABA masters natural Pro card)
2. 2011 Alabama NGA Natural Open Bodybuilding, fiqure and fitness Championships Super Pro Qualifier ( My 2nd opportunity to win my Overall Sword and or my NGA Masters Pro Card)
3. OCB Arizona Natural Open & Masters Pro Qualifier ( 3rd chance at reaching my goals in 2011)
4.I am not ready to announce this one just yet.

As for those announcements this will be my current Journal all previous are mute and been closed.

The Sports Hernia I recieved approx 1 month ago is staying steady, I occasionally have to move it around but so far its not causing me an issue except an occasional pain. I know I have to deal with this but without Ins I have to get thru a little more time. Another reason I have to become succesful in this business and with my PT business, another reason I am so driven.

I am adapting this to my training week 1 thru week 3, week for will be adapted to Peak week.

Next meal will be 3pm and will be a Turkey cutlet 1 cup of steamed brocolli and 1/2 grapefruit and asparagus ( juiced)

then 2.5 hrs later chicken 4 oz with spinach salad

then 2.5 hrs later 4 oz Tillapia and sauted asparagus

then before bed 10:30 either packaged Tuna or Packaged salmon or 3 egg whites.

Once the Interview is done and been published I will release the site and the web link if you are interested. I also have decided to enter BB.coms over 40 transformation contest.

I guess we are not updating in the forum anymore. Or maybe I have to win a show or do a top 5 to get my Gladiator icon, but thats not how it was put to me. I thought it was entering a Bodybuilding show or Powerlifting meet was what you needed. I thought the Icon was about showing you are battle hardened in an Arena, Which I am!

My Personal attempts at marketing myself are not the best, but all is progressing with hope.

The Hunt for a financial lifeline contines, but with light at the end of the Tunnel.

4:45 am Juice w/ 1/2 grapefruit, 1/2 apple, 1 slice Mellon, 3 celery stalks 1/2 scoop LG Lipotropic protein

5:15 am 1/4 cup grits with jalapenos, 3 egg whites 1 whole egg with onions and Jalapenos, 1 kellogs whole grain waffle with sugar free syrup.

Just stopped in to post a current pic, and say lots of Personal records this week. I am up 7 lbs and down another1/8th inch in my waist. lol big on top tight and narrow midsection since March 12th show. Heading for a 28 inch waist and a 54 inch Shoulder spread.

Sporting my new hot swim suit, My baby girl bought for me. Ha ha My sweet honey she likey lol.

The Dream has been postponed due to Doctors orders as I am getting ready for surgery. The July show is out and I will be planning my next one after I get sewn back together. More than Likely it will be The OCB Az Natural in Sept.

So last night I did my Test X6 and then 30 minutes later I took my little Rusty out side and knocked off another 2 sets of pushups 100 then 75 (could of done more but I wanted to be careful) came in and had 2 tbl PB and an Omega capsule and went to bed.

Since then I have been told by a good number of my Brothers from all over that if I dont behave and listen to the docs orders to rest easy till surgery they are flying in to whip my arse tie me down and sedate me, so for now I guess I am taking a Forced resting Deload.

Dam I want back in the playground lol

Still anyway more fat has dropped off my waistline, agood.nd the new pics on saturday should be pretty good.

This morning Woke to my Test X6 and BPI RX6

Grapefruit, apple, strawberry, cuccumber, jalapeno, tomato, garlic juice with 1 scoop (6 gr) Vi shake mix and 1/2 scoop whey ISO. Total 18 gr Protein

2 hrs later I will now be fixing some Ground Turkey and Eggs with 1 low fat whole grain waffle.

Temporarily down but not out, 4 weeks max hopefully. I'll know more come Monday. Here's my current pic 7 weeks the DTS Product I have been logging on Bodyspace. As you can see thier is a serious increased hardness, leanness, muscle tone overall thicker in appearance.

Well to update the Hernia that I have been nursing is getting painfully worse so an exam is scheduled for Monday and hopefully the surgery will be done soon after. My July show appearance and the chance for my SR Masters Nataural Pro Card has been postponed. I will more than Likely be attempting the OCB Az Natural in Sept.
This is good since I could use a little time to prep for those Giants. They got a Little Giant Killer coming. I want to earn the title of the best Senior masters Bodybuilder in Arizona.

Pic was taken today, messing around and decided I wanted a current shot of my body before I had to stop all progress for a couple weeks. I am still pumped from pretty much around 400 pushups a day every other day on top of current weight training,
The more stimulation and good feeding they get the harder and more defined they get.
My 1000 a day pushup challenge is also postponed till I heal. last saturday I hit 730 for the day and was hoping to hit that 1000 mark this saturday. Well in a couple weeks. I will be the next Jack laLane lol.

2 weeks resting, then I hope I'll at least be able to do pushups for a couple weeks. I dont plan on losing during this little bump. I am now up to 100 straight pushups, and doing them 3 or 4 times a day. Long term goal is to be able to knock off 150 straight.

PS on Saturday I went nuts since I was not feeling any pain I did 400 pushups when I wok up 100 at a time, then later in the afternoon I pushed to 393 broken up 90, 90, 90, 70, 53 reached a point where I started to feel pain in my groin, hernia said stop I stopped. Closer to my 1000 a day goal.

Well I see the surgeon in the morning, but it aint like none of you here give a shit, so this will be my last post "The Haters win I am done at the forum" Go on with your lives like you always have.

Never forget where you came from. The Forvm & everybody on it has given you advice & held your ass up for you when you were climbing the ladder. Just cos you've got near the top, don't start crapping on those who gave you a leg up.

First I'm not crapping on anyone, and I'm no where near the top, the negative comments have never been directed at anyone, just the overall mood and atmosphere of the forum. I'm just fed up and tired, No one here has propped me up Sprint, or held the ladder so to speak. I have offered my help to many here. Also I was on my way before I even came here, I feel Ive been disrespected here more often than I should have been, not by you, or G or Christian , Jim or others, but a large number of members obviously dislike and want me gone so as I said "The Haters win" you guys know where I am, (if you want). Most of those I named as well as others have known my frustration for a long time. You may not see it, and maybe you do but anyway I am thru fighting an uphill battle at this site. All the clicks can have fun and train together ect, I just dont feel the friendliness that I used to feel here. Dont take offense, but its just become something I dont want to be anymore. Sooner you take care of that hernia, the sooner you'll be healed up and back to 100%.One positive about the forced rest is that it will give minor nagging injuries a chance to heal. Keep your head up bro and keep pushing forward.

Yes for those of you who are not fans and friends of this hardcore SOB, Yes I do have friends here!

Just wanted to say high let ya know what I up to and that I am still kicking ass and taking names. Surgery went well, recovery was tough not being able to train, Double T Sports went into financial trouble so I have given up all Supplements and have developed a small online consultation business ( have a couple Clients and the rep is growing everyday) also I have become a fan and promoter of Visalus and The 90 day Challenge and that is pretty much my non Keto Protein source and that business is growing. Now I am back training like a madman and doing Keto my focus is triming any and all fat from my frame then building lean muscle and strength from thier. These new pics are done between 14 and 21 days straight low carbs pushing back in KETO, 21 days sub 4 grams per day. No and I mean no supps except fish oil and Visalus Non GMO Soy Protein MRP with an occasional caffeine cap if my energy feels low. I stopped using Visalus only during my 3 day Carb up as I only used a Whey ISO. Currently in the middle of a 6 week Keto run with 3 days a week training regimen Morning semi full body weights, Night 5 to 6 miles of Walkin/ jogging/ High rep Body weight work. The first and main pic of the blog post is about day 16 I beleive 164.6. The second pic and profile pic pic is ABs Flexed - 7.69% bodyfat in this pic, 21st day in on friday and I am 163. The third pic is yesterday at 166 after 2 days of carb up w/ 1 day left (phase 2) I have dropped .25 inch in my Belly (I currently only carry 12 lbs of fat on my frame with 154 lbs of lean muscle. As my british friend Dave says I am one mean shredded bodybuilding machine lol. Current goal before I stop leaning out sub 5% then a time of clean slow muscle and strength gain. Next Bodybuilding Show is in the planning stage, I will be back on Stage soon.

Yo CVR, I just wanted to give ya a heads up here. I posted a response in the 'keto diet' thread, but I'll post it up here in case you don't revisit that thread ..


CVR .. you're a great testament to what solid diet and training can do for someone, no matter what age. However, just because someone didn't reply or quote your post, it doesn't mean that we didn't see it or take it into consideration. Not all posts get 'quoted' and replied to. We all offer our own advice, whether it be based on personal experience or basic knowledge. Sometimes people offer more questions. Other times, we see it, lock it into our brains, and proceed to gather more information.

I've been scouring the Forvm for 3 years now. With the UniversalUSA site, I've been on it since its inception. Moderating both sites, I have never seen any other member call you out in a negative manner. Your personal thread may not get too many actual posts from others, but that doesn't mean we don't look at it. Take a look at the 'views' section of your Journey and you'll see what I mean. We all post on here to help each other out, free of charge. We don't look for handouts, pats-on-the-back, or thank you letters. We appreciate everyone's comments, no matter what. If you have any issues with a particular member, please feel free to message me about it and I'll be glad to help resolve it.
