View Full Version : My egg meal.
Lots of people get sick of eggs.
I personally hate eating just egg whites, feels like a waste of 3 g's of protein.
So, I take 4-6 eggs, whip em up, and 2 large potatoes.
Cut up the potatoes into small pieces, i say screw hash browns.
Throw em in the pan with some olive oil, and fry em til you think they're okay.
After that, toss in your 4-6 scrambled eggs, and cook em.
Mix em with the potatoes, and after the eggs are done, you have a plate loaded with protein and carbs.
I just made a good plate with ~25g worth of protein, ~75g worth of carbs, and my infamous milk. ~33g of protein from the milk, and about ~48g of carbs.
Total:
∙~60g protein
∙~120g carbs
Also, I think I'm going to chow down a bowl of apple sauce and tuna.
I'm not too full.

so, what are your goals and bf%?
im imagining my bf to be somewhere around 15-18%.
goals as in lifting goals? or bulking/cutting goals?

i rate the egg recipe man, i trioed it a while back good solid breakfast calories, add in a shake and its good to go.
yea. it really is awesome.
i ended up adding that tuna and applesauce right now. killer.
added an extra 45 grams of protein.

i heard there's a company out w/ the egg whites that have no runny taste to em, like you can buy em by the gallon. anybody have any personal experience w/em?

ive heard of em. i heard you can drink em straight, or toss em in with a shake. now that, id do. but you'll never see me drain the white from the yolk. no sir.

I drink a pint for breakfast which is = to 8 egg whites. there is no taste or anything, but they give me the runniest shit. maybe i just have a weak stomach but its def doable

This time, I just ate 6 scrambled eggs with a cup of rice.
I also had 3 cups of milk = 33g pro.

yeah bro, egg beaters makes i wanna say all-whites, it's available in a pint or a quart form, dont try drinking the quart in one sitting... let's just say i have some bad first hand experience w/ that one. the pints aren't bad tho- i guess the ohter company, it says they're not runny, i dunno tho

I am fortunate not to get sick of eggs, but when my desire for them wanes, throw in a heap of hot sauce. Then I feel much better.

i eat mine all hard boiled most of the time..all the time through the week. since i've started to cut my carbs a little. i started last week by increasing my eggs by one in the morning..as well as my protein with each meal. i am eating 16 eggs one morning and 8 the next. these days alternate...with the execption of saturday and sunday, they stay at 16. my carbs are lower of course on my greater egg day and more on the other. i normally throw some salsa on top of them for a little flavor..the lower sodium type of course. i'm sure you all get the same thing i do....why do you have to eat all those eggs....i just say...they are good for a growing boy.
alright cool i'mma do this today. i'm going to use 2 or 3 eggs, potatoes and throw in some tuna or chicken at the end and some salsa on top maybe

Sounds simple enough for me to do it. Ill have to give this recipe a try when im done cutting.
yea. im no genius, but i mean nobody can say eggs are bad for you.
cholesterol may be a problem with some, but i dont tend to have any problems.
also guys, i really suggest you try tuna with applesauce. no mayo of course.
i had everyone in my family try it and they all said it was alright. i mean, better than straight tuna.
they think i eat some weird shit, but they dont do what i do, so how can they be so certain its 'weird', right?
it just goes down like applesauce except with a teeny bit of chewing.
just tastes like chunky applesauce though.

I to enjoy the great egg...I do both the pints of egg whites along with doing the whole egg...I do about 4 a day in the morning along with my shake....but just ran out of protein mix last wednesday...and using other items for protein...I thing even doing a brief cycle off of the powder for a week is not a bad thing....anything to vary the diet and keep it interesting....one thing I did last week...1 chicken breast....pan fried in olive oil and garlick....then threw in half a bottle of Ragu....simmer.....then added some precooked pasta....presto.....dinner. I got some fun things to do with Bison meat as well ....good stuff...

just ate 8 eggs, 1.25 cups of rice, a banana, and 16 oz of milk.
~65g protein
and like at least 70 carbs.
Wow, this is an oldie.
Now I just bake my potatoes all at one time, and enjoy them being pre-made for the rest of the week.
Boil my eggs for each day at once, and everything else is good to go from there.
Milk = such a staple, I wish more people liked milk.
Cottage cheese too.
