Ok, First of all Big thanks to Animal for giving me the chance to try this out... Now here is what my rundown is:
Last October my gym closed, so now I am doing my workouts at home, I have recently started using things I have on hand to start some strongman-type training... The goal I have is to flip my 450lb tire 25+ times in a straight sprint, ans I want to see how it helps me perform with my cardio. I am currently running 2.5ish miles 2-3 times per week. I want to a) shorten my times, and b) extend my run.

When I get my can of Rage, this will become an active place!
Thanks for stopping by.

Ya, I was in the fence, but it just came down to convience of transport... I always have a bottle of water nearby, so I figured that on my drive home I can pop a pak and be ready by the time I hit the house to get some work in. Oh, and thanks for stopping in buddy!

Time to make it real!

Well i train first thing in the morning, so right when i wake up, it looks like this

wake up--- sugars + bcaa's shake
wait 5 mins
meal 1 typically protein shake, small portion of carbs, a serv of olive oil or PB+ Beta Alanine+Yohimbine+Leucine supplement
Shower up (usually 15 mins or so?)
Then get my clothes, on, take a shot of Rage, and away i go!

DANO
04-26-11, 11:36 pm
Ok, I took my first pak of Rage. Today was a test to get a feel for the timing/effects. I took it at 4:30, 20min later I felt myself amping up (better than any energy drink). So I went to the back of my department and did some curls and overhead extensions... that was a blast, felt like I could curl the world! haha... then I had to visit my dad to push a 4wheeler (wouldnt start) onto his pickup... cake.. then I was going to go on my run, but my youngest granddaughter (4) wanted to go too (what can you say to that???) so we walked a mile, but I was sooo jacked up I was doing plyo jumps, walking lunges. high knee jogging, just felt like GOING! 3 hours later, no crash just a return to normal. Great first feel.

Ok, So last night I took my Rage at 5:50 and got ready for my run… at 6:20 I felt the ‘ol juices start to flow… got my dogs loaded in the truck and went to our running road. Everything felt good and I was amped to run…. I got out and took off, first off, the pace I set was good and was able to maintain it decently. Then as I got to the last 1/4 mile I was able to pick it up. The self-drive was defiantly there.
My time for the run was 16:21… Some time shaved off..

..Here it is:
Popped a pak as I was leaving work, drove home, and by the time I hit the house I felt the welcome tingle of Rage. Hit up some leg extensions and tricep pressdowns on my machine. Then I took it outside…
After a little warmup, I stepped up to the tires, and started flipping. The focus was great and the intensity felt like nothing was going to stop me. When I passed the 21 mark I was stoaked! The next two were right there and the final three were all pulled from the guts… You know, down deep, where Rage can let you access.

You got it wedge.. I am going to measure off a 50' "runway" and time it.

On a side note: the flipping yesterday aggrivated my forearm, (I tore what the Dr. called the "long flexor" a couple of weeks back) so this weekend I will hit up a run or two and see if I can get some light leg work on the home equipment.

ooooooooo, a PR eh ?? 26 ?? .. just murdering that tire!!
So since it's been a week or so since I last frequented here, what's your
opinion on Rage ???? worth getting ?? or is is it more for guys who need
that lil' extra ?? Not that i'm put'n those guys in their own class, but I get jacked
all day long on about 5 pots of coffee throughout the course of the day & when
it comes time to lift it's more of a mental (like checkin' out EFS vids & watchin'
mf'ers bang some serious iron) game, and really at this stage in my life it really
is more mental than physical.. but still breakdown for me why i'd wanna go get
me some Rage *wink*.. yeah, i'm askin' ya to do a lil' researched homework..
hahahahaha.. Anyways, good job with the training lately, and I hope to see more
PR's (and I know I will) down the line.. keep it strong DANO.............. lata'

Ok Saint, here it is:
Rage is a great product, It doesn't get me "jacked" or jittery or anything like that, It just gives me that "ON" feeling...Even if I am having an "off" day. It is a clean burn that just picks you up enough to feel good and want to push through. I am sure there is a placibo effect being here pushing for the masses, (haha) but I have taken it on my non-training days. I drink coffee here at work to pick me up a bit, and slug back energy drinks just for a extra kick, but with this stuff I don't need them. After the initial surge you get it is just a nice ride, no crash, upset stomach... I can take these on an empty gut, or with food. With food dampens the initial flush/tingle, but the energy is still there. In my opinion this stuff is worth a try.. esp. with the price of coffee nowadays! <grin>

I know what you mean. I was taking the Rage Paks over the weekend while we were moving to the new house. Sunday I popped one at 5am and had three loads hauled to the new house by myself before anyone else woke up! That included to two old TVs (the heavy ass ones) two dressers (one still full) and a file cabinet! I never thought Rage would be so helpful on non-training days.

Ok, last night I did my cardio, my normal 2 miles...BUT... I forgot to start my timer sooooo.... But even without knowing the time it took, it was a good run and I kept a good pace throughout.. popped Rage at 5:00 and pounding the road at about 5:45.. The timing was just about perfect.

Check with a tire shop, one that deals in ag equipment or construction/heavy equipment, odds are that you can get one for free because they have to pay to get them hauled off. Thats how I got mine!

Nice arm work man. When are you gonna do some forlift squats? I'm dying to see the set up. I forgot to tell you about my new piece of equipment. Alliant Energy was putting new poles in a couple miles from my house. So I go them two cut me a ten foot section that I brought home. It's still got THICK copper wire nailed to it that I turned into two handles. I'll be able to curl it, walk with it, throw it up on my shoulder like a barbell, etc. I'll post some pics later. As soon as I saw the Alliant trucks I thought to myself... "What Would DANO Do?"

that forklift is doin' what it's supposed to , assisting, ok so maybe not textbook, but
still your doin' what it takes... Looks like the numbers are on the rise, slow and steady,
before you know it you'll figure out someway to devise a device to hold those big ol'
flip tires on each end of the bar for some true big-man leg work *wink* .. word to the
wise though, if ya feel something a lil' funny, call it a day, don't even F' around.. I know
it's probably nothing, but if it wasn't.. jus' sayin'.. but still, I am impressed that you

Thanks guys... I know what you are saying, and ya, it IS better than not getting anything done. My first off day with Rage... well, to make up for my lack of performance today.... TIRE FLIPS 3x10. AND they graded my running road, so this weekend I will have a smooth track for my final run "Rage assisted"... lets see how it goes.
