hey guys,

t-bar rowing the weight is getting old, but i dont wanna drop 200 bucks to make a new one. anyone got an idea on how to make one besides telling me to roll the bar onto a plate? anyone else done this?

Just to clarify, are you asking how to make a bar jack?

I don't know how to make one or what you can do other than just muscling the plates on there.

Not so sure there's anything else you can do. I sometimes roll it onto a plate, as you stated. Other times, I just hoist up that side. It is what it is.

Trying using larger bumper plates first. That should get the bar high enough off the ground so you can slid on the iron. That is of course if you have access to bumpers.

yea i was really hopin that someone had a strong like pvc pipe version or something i could make... i really dont wanna have to drop 100-200 bucks on it. but oh well. i may see if some family of mine may be able to weld something similiar. and yea, its identical to the one on the link.

That's pretty cool. I can't imagine those pipes/fittings costing more than $20-$30 total, if that.

yea, sorry man. the vid wasnt a work of art. but heres what i used.

5 4in pipes
4 t's
3 6in pipes
2 couplings
3 closers
2 45 degree pipes
2 2in pipes

i think thats about all... go 1/2 in. itll save yea 5 bucks and work just fine. thanks for showin me that first vid!
