Bros' I've got and upcoming max day, what's a good routine(about a week) for bench press to get myself ready, I'm sure this could help many people that wonder the same thing.

Heavy weight low reps.....
Keep ur reps to 4-6 and increase the weight on ur lifts..... But 4rm my . of view a week is too less for practicing... U should have started atleast 1.5-2 months out... Any ways Best of Luck!

I wouldn't push it, if your planning on maxing out. You need to be completely rested before you PRs. Is it just a max day at the gym or something special?
maniac is right, you need to be rested. i have seen some routines that have you resting a full week before attempting a 1RM.

Most people take the week before a powerlifting contest off. That's the answer above^

definitely just take it off. my lifts have always been better at my meets the times ive taken at least a week off.
