Seated Smith machine shoulder press-2x10 with 1 pps, 1 plate + 25 per sidex10, 1 plate + 35 per sidex6, 2 plates per sidex6

Front DB Raises-30x10, 35x10, 35x10

DB lateral raises-30x10, 40x10, 40x10

Smith machine shrugs-3x15 @2 plates per side

DB Shrugs-3x10 @ 100 lbs

BB Curls-4x10 @ 95 lbs

Seated DB Curls-4x10 @ 20 lbs

Hammer Curls-2x10 @ 40 lbs, 2x10 @ 25 lbs

Concentration Curls-2x10 @ 20 lbs, 1x10 @ 30 lbs, 1x10 @ 20 lbs

About 30 seconds rest in between each set for biceps, 2-3 minutes between exercises.


Today wasn't really a heavy day or anything so no major PRs. I think it's the first time I have had 2 plates per side on the smith machine for shoulder press, but I haven't done that movement in forever. Rage was good though, I had lots of energy throughout the workout and I think it may have given me a better pump but I'm not sure

Nice session man. Even if you don't get a PR everytime, just keep remembering that it's right around the corner. Plus, if you get a PR everytime... the Universal Reps will take the Rage away from the rest of us for being lazy!! lol

Haha, yeah. I don't really keep track of PRs unless it's on the squat, bench, or deadlift. I do go up in weights a lot on other movements but I never really keep track of any record weights/reps/sets/etc on them.

Squats-work up to 612x1 (PR)

Was short on time so this is all I had time for. I left some in the tank for sure, if I didn't have to leave I would have went 620-625ish.

I went in with the goal of 558x2. My first rep was really awkward feeling but the 2nd one was way better, so I decided to do another one. I was contemplating a 4th one but I figured I'd just stop. I am kind of glad I did 3 because 534x3 is my old triple PR but it was too easy to consider it my 3RM.

OK so I woke up an hour before this workout, so I was feeling sluggish and didn't even want to lift today. I figured it would be a "go through the motions day" but I ended up focused and feeling great. I had the best deadlift workout in along time today. I am really liking the Rage...did they change the formula at all since the alpha testing? Because it's working way better now then it did back then.

My current DL PR is 584 lbs. I have been chasing 600 for along time now, and I am starting to get really close. Deadlift has always been my worst lift, so I am really making it a goal to pull 600+ at my meet June 11th.

I wanted it June 11th. I got it May 9th.

Not really. I went in wanting to hit 615+ but I knew it probably wouldn't happen. My knee has been irritating me for a few days and it was pretty bad this morning. Worked up to 370x1 and called it. I did 3x15 spud abs. Next Friday I should be good though.

I couldn't squat friday because I hurt my neck and was having neck spasms for two days. I tried to squat today but I tweaked a reoccuring thing in my groin area warming up so instead I just benched.

Today: Bench

Bench-225x10, 275x5, 315x10 with a pause on last rep, 365x1, 405x1 (pr)

30 min stationary bike

Bench was touch and go today. Not too happy though because of my squatting situation.

I tried to get a team together but some of the guys couldn't (or wouldn't) do it. I'm looking to redeem myself; my last meet sucked. I'm looking forward to seeing you lift again!

I'm doing the push/pull, Ironman with belt. Hoping to set some PRs; gravity has been good to me lately. Professor is doing push/pull as well. That guy sets 2 or 3 PRs a day. He'll have some impressive meet numbers. And by the looks of your log you'll be a standout as always.

Since I use double the dose (sometimes more) with Rage...Saturday will be my last day using it. Hopefully these PRs keep coming!


Actually now that I think about it, I got some from the powerlifting promo in sample sizes, but I will save them for the intended purpose at the meet.

Was worried about squats today because it's my first squat workout since May 6th due to the knee/neck. 570-575 will be my opener, 615 will be my 2nd unless it's an off day, and I would like 635 for a 3rd. 614 today was a smoke show.

And that's it for Rage. Today was the perfect day to end on...it's the last hard workout until my meet, and I was definitely dragging ass this morning getting out of bed.
