You never realize how much of our lives is pure resistance.. I don't want to plagurize what Wrath said but we are in a situation where dealing with resistance is a way of life .. resistance from parents, spouses, teachers, girlfriends.. not just about the gym and why we do this, but in every aspect we live our lives. What we choose to do as a career, what we major in at college, right down to what we eat on a daily basis.. someone else is always gonna have something to say about it and you just gotta keep movin' forward with what you wanna do..

You put it perfectly Beast. But there comes a point where you realize that by moving forward like you said, you're winning the battle and making a name for yourself. As Machine would say, you're living by your own rules, becoming what you want to become while resisting the outside forces that would hold you back.
