Real Gains on a cut?
Thoughts?
Got a good dose of carbs and I know some fellas hate and/or are sensitive to carbs on a cut. Me, I'm not so I would do it personally... Bottom line is, monitor your caloric intake and be sure to train appropriately for cut...

Not to bulk, but my thinkin was as an MRP... At least, that was my assumption.

Eh, maybe i am biased, but i like whole food meals, and then a good whey shake plus carbs post workout. I like to be able to tailor my shake to what i need, instead of taking in a big shake like that and tailoring the rest of the diet to fit the shake in, but thats how it has worked for me personally.

So MRP and in a pinch? Sure. I wouldn't overthink it too much... CC is right that ya def want to prioritize whole food meals, but in this case I think it's fine.

I agree with U Rep. If your in a pinch, sure its better to have something and keep your metabolism going. Even doing half a serving at 300 cals would be worth a shot, then maybe an extra scoop of protein if you could.

50 grams whey + 1/2 - 1 Cup quick oats, shake and let sit for a little bit.
You get the affordability of whey and oats + the complex carbohydrates from oatmeal.

A classic, tried and true meal. Can't go wrong.
Sometimes I do one of these in a dixie paper bowl with instant hot water and some cashews or PB.
