Many time I get told, I can't get stronger. I am stuck. Well sometimes you might just need to go back to the basics. I bench in a shirt all the time, but even though my numbers might go up. My raw strength really goes down. SO now its time to take the shirt off and work back on my core. No, I am not going to lift in a raw meet. I am though getting back to doing lots of other upper body lifts that I have not been doing. I am usually sore for 2 or 3 days after a back training. I noticed lately that I have not been very sore at all after benching. Well that all changed this week. My triceps are blown and my chest is very sore. I am 8 weeks away before I compete and I have been training raw for the last 3 weeks. Next week I will go back in the shirt, so look for some records to drop in Dallas at the end of July.

Well if your raw strength went up your supported strength should shatter those records. The best of luck to you!
