View Full Version : More holes in a belt?
My "walk-around" weight is down almost 15lbs from before X-mas and now my belt is a lot looser than I like. It's a buckle belt and I can get it on the first (tightest) set of holes without any help or struggle. I want it tighter for heavy deads.
Is it possible to punch another set of holes or two or would that compromise the integrity of the belt? I'd guess that as long as I space the holes the same it shouldn't matter?

I'd say it should be fine

Yeah me too... I guess I was wondering if anyone here had done it.

bro its simple as long as the belt is tight around your waist, and is supporting your back thats all that matters

i did it on my old leather belt had no problem-- but if your using a better quality belt like and inzer i'd def think twice
You should be fine. A drill will do the trick with the proper size bit.

I have had to add a couple holes to a leather belt and there is no problem, I cut a bit of the excess off because the loose end just got in the way. I would aggree though if the belt is a quality one like an Inzer or Valeo you would be better off buying a new one in your size so the lumbar support will not be off center when you tighten it.
Time to Rep out....
Thanks for all the replies guys. I'll hold off on it because it is an Inzer belt. If worse comes to worse and I really want a tighter belt for Nationals I'll bring my girlfriends pink belt ;)

Just gave the brother a reason to get a new tool ha ha.
