Where's everyone staying at this year? I think it'd be cool if we had a big group of us in the same spot so we can all get breakfast together and things like that.
Awesome idea bro, if I were going then I'd be in for sure. Let's make this a regular thing.

Honestly I dont really know nor care, I'm driving down from Reno and will have 5 extra seats in my car so I figured it'd save some people some coin if we car pooled. All I know is I'm not staying at Arizona Charlies Decatur. Stayed there for a soccer tournament once and it was terrible hah. I normally stay at the Red Rock but thats because my team could snag some good group deals. The O is at the Orleans right?
This thread needs to blow up, come on bros.

The competitions are at the Orleans, but the expo is at the LV Convention Center. In the past, they offer a free shuttle between the two.....

Ahh I see, so I'll probably check out some places close to the expo rather than the Orleans.

That's what I suggest. Plus, if they're on the east side of the Strip, you can use the Monorail - takes you right to the front door of the Convention Center ($10 per day unlimited use). Let me know if you need any help......

Anyone have any tips for ordering travel tickets+hotel reservations online. I usually use yahoo travel. Are there any other sites or deals out there?

I stay at the Orleans last year for the first time and really it was great being around all the bros -- it's an awesome atmosphere -- I am staying there again this year!! they have the shuttle to the expo or it's just a short drive over - since I drive down I have my own transportation -- hope to see many of you there!!

vegas.com is a pretty decent website for overall reservations for everything Vegas. But I have found contacting the hotels directly for hotel stay specials is the best way for getting rooms.

I should had put this with my previous post: If you go to the MrO website http://mrolympia.com then travel/accomodations - then you can use the Group code they have there if you want to stay at the Orleans. It was only $40 a night with that code!

What do you guys know about Tahiti Village? Supposedly cheap, and full kitchen, which comes in handy when you are training with a specific goal of looking especially great on a specific date in the near future.
The Stratosphere was on sale the other night around 2am for cheap.. Thats what Im shooting for. If you havent taken the trip up to the top of that thing- its worth it.

Not too bad of a place. Started out as a time-share, but that's what an economy like this will do.
Little bit of a distance, though, from the Convention Center...

There's a travelodge that I found on expedia.com that's like 50 a night and its super close to the convention center.

Okay, so there are alot of other major events in town that weekend, so the average hotel rates are through the roof, even for the normally cheap places.
This is what I came up with. They're not stellar places to stay, but they are all within a mile of the Convention Center, so you won't need a cab, and they're the cheapest. Plus, no one is planning on staying in their room all day; all you need is a place to recover (sleep), so these should the job:
- Clarion Hotel and Casino 305 Convention Center Drive, Las Vegas, NV, US, 89109 Phone: (702) 952-8000:$80/night
- Royal Resort 99 Convention Center Dr, Las Vegas, Nevada 89109 (702) 735-6117: $69/night
- Rodeway Inn 220 Convention Center Drive, Las Vegas, NV, US, 89109 Phone: (702) 735-4151: $65/night
- Blair House Suites 344 East Desert Inn Road, Las Vegas, NV 89109-9032 (702) 792-2222: $60/night
The way rooms are going for that weekend, I don't know how long these prices are gonna last, so you may want to jump on these ASAP!
Hope this helps......
Nice thanx !!! I will check into these and see what I can do!!!
I also noticed alot of other events goin , its crazy what a room goes for when
there is stuff goin on down there cuz lately with the economy the rooms have
been goin pretty cheap in Vegas!

Yeah, I was looking last night just for shits and giggles. All I can say is holy shit! When Imperial Palace is going for over 100 bones a night, when it's usually free even on weekends (Total Rewards), you know some big things are going on.
