View Full Version : Anyone try the Conan workout?

I went four weeks doing it the way someone told me at work. So far its intense and gives a great overall pump.
The downside is its a ton of reps and the weight I have been using is hurting my ego. But its getting the job done.

I use 60% of a weight that my form breaks after 2-3 reps.
You do 7 reps then 7 sec of rest at the top of the lift then repeat until you do 7 sets.
Then after a real rest replace all the numbers above with a 6 then another break and replace them with 5.

I only do this for the main compound lift for that day: deads, shoulder press, squat and bench

Here is my spit
1: deads and chin ups 4 sets till failure
2: shoulder press and 4 sets of side raises 10-15 reps
3: 3 sets of leg ext 10-12 reps, 3 sets of leg press 10-12 reps, squats, lying hamstring curls 10-15 reps
4: bench, 3 sets of 10-15 reps incline flies

Like is said it feels like its getting the job done but only growth will tell.
