I don't know how many people do or did use the real deal of anabolic steroids, and I'm not starting this thread to find out. I am just letting my thoughts roam on this topic..

In our subculture, there's more ads and different products for our passion than the cigarette companies put out.. I mean it is not hard at all to find information, or even buy any type of "illegal" steroids out here(despite the ban of 2005). It's not stopping any manufactuer from producing these pills and people are rushing the doors to get them.

Now I will admit I have been tempted to buying and even using this contraband but have stayed mostly natural in my training up until now(as I should I'm still only 17 going on 18) SO I take pride in that fact, and whenever I see some guy half assin' it in the gym and his size and definition is inspiring when I find out he's on the juice or anything like that, it kind of strips him of the respect he might be getting from people.

My sisters boyfriend is a perfect example he gets more excited about a new anabolic steroid on the market than he does about working out.. now i'm not bashin him cause hes a great guy but when you don't work out every day and just take roids to replace what hardwork you haven't been doing, all the honor and glory of his sport is stripped away..

When I look at my peers I see a lot of guys who wanna get huge.. but they run from the hardwork and sacrifice.. as if they even knew the meaning of it all. I want to educate them on the Animal lifestyle but they'd rather read up on the next cycle they're gonna do. I look back on all of the hardwork I've put in from where I started to where I am now and they are surpassing me in size and strength and it gets depressing at times, but I have to be resolved in my commitment and WE have to show them who the fuck is really hardcore in and out of the gym everyday..

I feel the same way. This is a tricky subject though.

I myself being natural, have great respect for the guys who are still natural and have awesome physiques and size.

But, I also have respect for the not-so-natural guys who are huge with defined size and shape, who bust their ass day in and day out.

I however do not have respect for those who *use* before they have even come close to their genetic limit naturally... and yes, i know that phrase seems to be overused, but its very true.

Steroids can only cover up shitty diet and training as long as you're on them.

Exactly my point of view.. I second guessed while posting this because I wouldn't know how some would respond. But i guess I can speak on it because I have tried pro-hormone products but with no avail I lost the weight eventually and had to work my way back up naturally to where I was .. No product or steroid or test booster ever helped me more than just good old strict diet and discipline.

On this subject,I could not agree more.. perfect example is any kid in highschool who just uses roids to get big quick to get girls and starts lifting for the first time in their lives, all in the same week. I would never consider using pro-hormones again until I am convinced I have hit my genetic potential and my body won't allow itself to grow anymore.. but I don't see this happening anytime soon.

the one thing that pisses me off more than anything is how the media conveys that if one were to take steroids...they would instantly look like ronnie or arnold.

IMO that is the difference between the lazy chemically enhanced fools and those who bust there ass year after year to earn the body they have.
