Uh-oh.... If that beanbag is getting into Animal, Universal may have to request they censor that out or they may loose support....
But seriously, that guy drinks a lot and eats deli sandwiches, yet he stays ripped.... Something tells me he's using something other than Animal products....

Could definitely be a 15-pack. I've seen a few tubs of stuff on the counter of that house. Its always some-what blurred out, but you can tell what brands they are just by the color.

I've seen two other products in heavy rotation in that house. One product involves the letter '3' and the other product is another NJ-based company ... ;-)
And you're right, they're little. I ended up running into them at The Beach Bar last summer, without realizing it. They walked right past me and were MUCH smaller in person. Makes me wonder how huge I'd look on camera. I know Ronnie sits at about 175lbs. I'm 230lbs and 3-4" taller ... lol

Haha yea all summer. They were there pretty much every Thursday, Friday, Saturday. With the exception of a few nights when they did other things. To be honest, the cast themselves are not THAT bad. Its the crew as well as the "fans" that are the worst. They have some HUGE security when they come in the club, but once outside, there are police that are with them everywhere. Most locals, dont like them very much, even tho the revenue they bring to Jersey is unbelievable.

Its not. I do watch it. Although I've just DVR'd it this season and watched it at my leisure. In previous years, I watched it at 10pm, sharp. I wouldn't be on that show. I'm not like that in any way. I just live at the Jersey Shore and go to those bars every/all summer. But as far as that whole lifestyle, it ain't me. I don't hate those cats. As CC said, they bring EXTREME revenue to that town. So I don't hate. Personally, I have a bigger problem with all the people who make it a point to declare their hatred for it. I feel like some people think they should be praised/rewarded for not watching it. When it first aired, I saw facebook/twitter statuses saying, 'I'm proud to say I've yet to watch a single episode!' If that's something you can be proud of, you can go fuck yourself. Everyone has an opinion, which they're 100% entitled to. But I just don't get the people who flaunt their hatred for it. Why bother? What's the point?

Fair enough. I just couldn't get into it, like I said, I watched 15 mins of the first one, with snookie passing out before the others went to down and all the yelling and screaming did my head in. I'm living in Jersey now and lots of people from Australia and Japan ask me if it is really like the show here, so I don't know if it is giving the the best portrayal of America or the Jersey Shore.
I used to get shit for watching "sex and the city", I even owned the dvd's, because living over seas and watching it made me think of my brother cause he lives in Manhattan. Now I watch the biggest looser every tuesday......lol I know.
I like the Ultimate Fighter as well, but I have to admit, all the bickering between the coaches last season really turned me off.

I gave it another try last night on demand, season 5 episode 4, the birthday party.....I figured out what gives me the head ache, too much shaky cam...I really tried to get into it, even spotted the animal pak on the counter, but the shakiness of the scenes bothers me.

How about reading a book?
What is the premise of the show?
Premise?? I guess if there was one, it would be a bunch of people living together; most of whom, seem to have suffered from some serious development issues from their parental figures growing up. Cameras follow them as they continue to push the boundaries of what it means to live like a pieces of shit, treating their bodies like crap, sticking their wicks in anything that moves, perpetuating a fashion and grammar sense that would make a hillbilly seem classy. All the while, whoring themselves out, to any and all possible endorsement deals. But hey, they have more money than me right? And that's the golden rule.
I've got no problem with responsible drinking and being young. Being single and having great times with your roommates. This show is not the same thing. Trash like this on TV, and IT IS, pure trash, is a pretty terrible indicator, of what our country has allowed to be deemed as, 'acceptable' and 'cool.'

All,
You all realize that the people on the show are actors basically right? You also realize that the producers/directors of the show can dictate the various scenarios the characters get in right? You must also realize that if the show didn't generate revenue, it would be canceled. Oh and any money you think these characters are making, the creator of the show is 3-4x times and MTV (or its parent) is 4-6x. But that's how it is with famous people in general. The sponsoring company always makes significantly more.
I was at the Whiskey Blue at the W on Lex in Manhattan. This place is right by a number of corporates, so the crowd is pretty conservative in dress/behavior. Sure enough that guy that plays the situation or whatever, comes in wearing sunglasses (it's 8pm... so dark out) in a military jacket and wearing these weird tight pants. I've been to the W. Village on Halloween and seen less strange outfits. In any event, had to say something to the guy. He sounded nothing like he did on TV, nor did he act in any way that was like his character. Was he still kinda bizarre? Sure. But he's a TV personality on a show that's designed to be controversial.
Fun fact. Chris Christie made it a point not to give the Jersey Shore any tax breaks for filming in Jersey because he feels they are a poor representation of the State.

I'm not going to reveal my political ideologies... ha
But I will say this...
Christie is fantastic, as a deal maker and as a politician. I thought his campaign against Johnny Corzine was professional and showed that he can take the heat of opposing political firestorm. I think he made an incredibly intelligent decision not to run in the GOP Primary. Every great leader declines offers of power and leadership. Probably the most famous was George Washington, who was basically offered Monarch post revolutionary war and declined it because he wanted a simple life. Of course that answer increased his influence and power ten fold. Christie will no doubt be a political powerhouse for the GOP in the future. He is building an impressive track record in New Jersey and he will come out swinging in 2016 (I say that because I feel the GOP is broken right now and Obama will steamroll this election). Do I feel he could improve? Sure. He has taken stands on some socially controversial issues a little pre-maturely. He is a union buster, but he has been attacking the symptom (Union leaders/organizations) instead of the disease (the need for Unions in the first place and their charters/ideologies).
I'm starting to ramble and gave you a long answer to a question that warranted a simple response.... I feel Christie is a true and honest politician. He is a breath of fresh air.
Now thats pretty cool! haha.

Yup. My brother has been out with them many times while they were filming. He spoke the same truths; they're good guys when not in front of the camera. MTV needs ratings, so they plant certain situations to make the show interesting. When The Situation was on Howard Stern, it was a great interview. He was relaxed, laid back, and very polite. Mike functions as the 'trouble maker' in the house b/c that's what MTV wants him to do.
