Mon Night down at the GMS PowerPit. Ant hit 1005 in full gear 0ff 17-in bx. for 2-reps. Big BP's down at the pit tonight. Then Sun am off to Newark NJ. for the RPS Ironman.




TUES NIGHT AT THE GMS POWERPIT, ANT HAD BP'S, 725 AND 675 T0 3-BRD, 665 TO 2-BRD AND 625 TO 1-BRD, WE ALSO DID A LIGHT SHOULDER AND TRI WORK OUT, AGILITY AND SPEED WORK, TIRE FLIPS AND SLED. ALL WERE EASY AND SMOOTH. LIGHT DL TODAY AND WE'RE READY FOR SUNDAY. BRING IT ON!!!!!!!!


THESE TRAINING SESSIONS WERE COMPLETED THIS PAST WEEK IN PREP FOR THE RPS NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPUIONSHIPS IN NEWARK NJ. ANT IS ALSO GETTING READY TO COMPETE IN THE SPF IRONMAN IN KNOXVILLE TN ON 3/10/12. WE'LL KEEP YOU POSTED

ANTHONY-Today we had Sqt's, started w/ rev hupers ss w/ rope abs, glute/hams ss. w/ landmines,Sqt's- 755lbs w/200lb chain,off 19 in bx., w/ foam,7x2, Rev Bnd DL's-915lbs 5x2, step-ups and leg curls 2x10, finished w/ Rev Hypers,rope abs,bx jumps, rk bnd jumps, med ball, sled pulls and tire flips,all x2. We do the pre and post portion of the work-out daily



ANNA-Today we had spd sqt’s, started w/ rev hypers ss. w/ rope abs and glute/hams ss. w/ landmines, spd sqt’s, Raw,425lbs, off 14-in bx. 5×5, Rk DL’s 405lbs 5×5, arch bks 525lbs 2×8, step-ups and leg curls 2×10, finished w/ rev hypers, rope abs, med ball toss, bx jumps, rk bnd jumps,also trained throws,skills and agility work,I have one week of training before the next meet in Blacksburg Va. on Sat 2/4,plenty of time to correct the mistakes and I will Throw Big,Throw Far,spd bp’s tom, see you in the WR.

Tech this wkd for indoor,lv. Thurs afternoon,finished w/ throws, skills and agility drills, dl’s Thur, see you in the WR.

ANT-today spd BP's started w/ rev hypers 3×10 ss. w/ rope abs 3×20 and glute/hams 3×10 ss. w/ landmines 3×10, spd bps,405lbs plus150lbs chain 2-Brd 9x1, Bnd press,single blk, 455lbs 2-Brd 6x1, ball and mach press, standing press, 315lbs 3x5, DB cln and pres, plate raises,one arm standing DB cln and jrk, close grips single blk, 225lbs 2x10 and e-z curl bar push dwns, 3x10, finished w/ rope,abs rev hypers, bx jumps, med ball toss, rk bnd jumps , sled pulls , tire flips, all x2, tough days ahead w/ am lifting and conditioning w/ WCU football, then training at night, looking forward to March, DL's Fri.

ANNA-Today we had dl’s,needed to go 4 in a row due to leaving for V-Tech on Thurs., started w/ rev hypers ss. w/ rope abs and glute/hams ss. w/ landmines 3×10 ea,we did a spd version of our DL day,all training was raw,high bx sqt’s,425lbs 3×5,blk dl’s, 365lbs,3×5,pltfrm bnd dl’s,w/ 265lbs 3×5 , sissy sqts 425lbs 2×5, corner rows w/175lbs, 2×10, leg curls 2×10, seated wide grip mach rows 2×10 and seated close grip pull dwns 2×10, finished w/ rev hypers, rope abs, med ball toss, bx jumps, rk bnd jumps x2,also trained shot and weight, skills, agility and speed work,training went well,Throw Big Throw Far,see you in the WR.

ANNA-We had Hvy BP’S today,started w/ rev hypers 3×10 ss. w/ rope abs 3×20 and glute/hams 3×10 ss. w/ landmines 3×10, bps,Raw,165lbs 3×5,4-Brd press 255lbs 3×5,DB incline and decline 2×10,cleans 155lbs 3×5,grapplers and seated DB press 2×10, close grip bp’s 105lbs 3×10, e-z curl push dwns 3×10, rev hypers, rope abs, bx jumps, rk bnd jumps, med ball toss x2,finised w/ throws,speed and agility work, we'll be leaving for Blacksburg Va. today,for meet on 2/3-4 and I’ll be throwing the weight and the shot,Throw Big, Throw Far! see you in the WR.




ANT-WE HAVE CLASS AND FOOTBALL CONDITIONING TODAY,THEN BACK TO LIFTING TOMORROW W/ DL'S.

Tuesday 1/31/12 training went better than we had plenned w/ ant's spd bp's. For our last 3 sets w/ chains, the bar weight was taken up to 455lbs and the chain weight increased to 225lbs off a 3-bord, all sets were raw, then w/ the bnd press, we did 565lbs bar weight and single black micro-mini bnd to a 3- brd for 6x1.ball press was done w/ 125lb db 2x10.we had a great night even after the meet on sun. In newark nj.
