Hey fellas,
Been a really long time since I've posted anything on here, but do check it from time to time. Appreciate all of the knowledge and opinions that have been posted on here, keep it up!
Long story short: Have been training a lot different then usual. Instead of going for mass I've been trying to tone it up, increasing the reps and reducing the time in between sets has made a big difference for me. Along with a really clean diet I've moved from 240lbs and 23.5% BF to 225 and 17% within the past few months.
Here's the thing, have a trip that came up at the last minute for Spring Break and am not at where I want to be for the beach body. Other than the wrestling diet, which would compromise mass, what can I do to really tone up within the few weeks. Another note, I don't do cardio at all. Have been told by a trainer though, by the way I'm working out we are usually burning 300-400 calories during regular days and 700-900 during leg day.
Current diet:
Meal 1: Cup of oatmeal, 5 egg whites, and 1/2 cup of grapefruit
Meal 2: Protein Shake
Meal 3: 10 oz of chicken breast, greens
Meal 4: Protein Shake
Meal 5: 16 oz of chicken breast, sweet potato (1/2 usually)
Meal 6: Cottage Cheese and 1/2 grapefruit with a Shake
I travel a lot so some times the diet does change a bit with subbing in a quick Subway ( 6 inch wheat, double meat - Chicken Breast, Veggies, and no sauce )
Obviously there isn't a chance of a 6 pack in my situation, but what can I do other than being very strict on my diet for the next few weeks. A fat burner worth the cash? Should I just crush some cardio and go lighter on the lifting? I've never done a "competition diet" but was curious to know what it would entail. Any help or even "dude you're shit outa luck" is going to be appreciated.
Thanks bros,
-Mike
