Time to start a journey. A journey to get stronger, bigger, faster and break records. Whether they are personal records or world records it doesn't matter. I've been training for a long time without a purpose other than it's a passion of mine, and I feel like shit if I miss a day. I have a purpose now.....

I recently felt defeated when I missed my 2nd and 3rd attempt on dead lift at a powerlifting meet. I was disappointed and pissed off. It's time to take that anger and turn it in to muscle by pushing and pulling as many plates as I can. I'm ready to do what it takes to win. "Prepare to win, or lose to someone who is."

I'll be posting after I train in the mornings and what I'm putting in my body everyday.

Lifting with a purpose completely changes things for the better - go in there on a mission and pretty soon you'll start smashing some of those records brother! Get some!

Subbed. Failing and having tried is much better than not trying at all! I like that you're fired up after having experienced failure at the meet. My last meet I didn't hit what I wanted to and was not pleased with my results. I took it as a lesson to fix a number of things--diet, form, conditioning, sleep, intensity, preparation. Time to put in the work to get better.

Amen brother! It was definitely a lesson, and a tough one at that. I guarantee that I will be bigger, stronger and more prepared next year! You are completely right, trying and failing is much better than not trying at all. I will always remember that someone busier than me is out there.....training right now!

Bench
Incline Around the World's
Underhand Front Raises
Decline Hammer Strength Presses
High Cable Curls

Trying to increase my bench, was told that doing some of these exercises will target the top of the chest which will result in a bigger bench.....

Took some time off, strained a tendon in my elbow. Couldn't even pick up my kid without it hurting. Time off helped, good as new now. Felt like the two weeks off made me weak though, but that's not stopping me.

Dead lift
Wide Grip Pullups
Close Grip Pullups
Close Grip Row
Bent over rows
