View Full Version : Hellraiser
Ok so i kinda scanned through the threads to see if it was brought up but couldn't find anything ...I'm interested in starting the hellraiser routine ...the only issue i have is my training partners aren't always available to lift the same time as me... so my question is this if i wasn't able to do the hellcentric reps...would a drop set/rest pause style be effective?

Thanks brother.....it's tough some days one of my partners can make it in, sometimes not. I'll use this on days they can't

I feel you bro! I have a real problem with partners… Some just bail on me when they have a new girl, others just don’t stick to the program, they train when they feel like it or change their schedule so they can go out and party or some shit like that. I learned to train alone and when I need help I ask for a spot from one of the trainers in the gym or someone. I also don’t want to train with some dude that takes 5 minute breaks between sets to chat with friends or some fitness bunnies, they slow me down and just screw up my w/o. We are born alone, we die alone, so I don’t see any problem with training alone. It is doable! If you can’t get a good partner that you can rely on then you have to learn to train alone. Adapt to survive is the name of the game!

Couldn't have said it any better myself
I'm lucky, my partner never misses a session and is always there for some hardcore training. You guys need better lifting buddies!

I guess it would be nice, but a phrase comes to mind: “loneliness adds beauty to life”! It’s from P Diesel’s article. I got to tell you I read that article twice a day or more since it was posted on animalpak.com!
I haven't had a training partner for years. I would love to have it just impossible to find someone dedicated enough to join me here.

Looks like some brothers have got your back in here. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Or. He could set something up with me, for some 1 on 1, since I live in the area.
