Is there a piece of equipment you think is missing that you wish they have? Or any new ideas for the bodybuilding & nutrition world that would make things more easier for you?

a peck deck and heavier dumbbells, they only have up to 115, really sucks

My gym is pretty fancy, it has pretty much 2 of everything. But i need a t-bar row machine. MY favorite lift is loading on 5-6 plates on the end of a bar and rowing, but my gym wont let me as its a makeshift machine when you just stick a bar against the wall. I might switch gyms just to use one.

Fat bars for wrist curls!!!!***!! My own high school gym has like three of them, but my gym (Gold's) doesn't even have them and i've been resorting to using the 45lbs straights for months now. I'm really contemplating 'borrowing' one from the school.

I go to a pretty fancy gym also, they have pretty much everything except the standing leg curl machine and the old school pullover machine like the one Dorian uses. Those are nice to have but i can live without

I cant stand fancy gyms. But what ever works for you is cool. I just seem to lose all focus. There is a gym called the 'Athletic Club' here in t bay and when i look around in that place it hits an anger nerve in my brain. I see plants, 200 machines and a cute little water fall at the entrance. No there is nothing missing at my gym, i rely mostly on plates and bells.

My gym needs a T-Bar Row, and a good plain Dipping Bar and Chin Bar.

Oh! That and heavier DB's than 125's. I'm sure I'll hit those pretty quick (3-4months) in DB Bench. Plus, i like DB shrugs better, and those are already too light. Now i just make my hold at the top longer. Went from 3 secs to 8. lol

Damn, my gym could use some heavier dumbbells. 120's just don't cut it.

It seems not to many gyms have heavy dumbells any more. I think the gym i train at has the heaviest of DB's at 165 where i live.

I was ust gonna say how much I wished my gym had that Dorian Yates pullover machine. I would also like a seated leg curl machine as my gym.

sucks bro my gym goes up to 100s in increments of 5 then up to 150 in increments of 10. They are talking about going up to 200s.

I used to train at ballys and they only go up to 85s.

Yea I feel bad for you guys with light dumbs at your gyms.. I mean I usually don't use any higher than like 110's but its nice to have a gym where it goes up to 200's and you see those stacks of plates sitting on the rack and you say to youself, "I want those fuckin' dumbells". Its a good motivation factor.

Glute ham raise apparatus. Sure, I can rig them by using a barbell, smith on a bench etc. But if we had the actual machine, I'd be set. I can't get them to buy one either, I'm told it's "too hard core", LOL. But hey, I guess I can't complain, it's an LA Fitness, and it's actually better equipped than the local "Super Golds" otherwise.

ALOT! Hours suck, Smith machine, supplements, some crazy music ( " slip knot", "lamb of god", ect. You name it, however, it still keeps me comin back. Carry my own tunes, mix my own protein, go there when i can, ( work stupid hours) and forot about the invention of the Smith machine. And whats really missing are the dedicated / Animalistic lifters that I enjoy hangin & bangin with. Seems they are too busy tryin to nail some split tail than to nail a body part.

back equipment, we have 6 bench's and no lower row machine, or T bar, I do make a makeshift Tbar and they dont bitch, the dumbell's only go up to 150lbs, but they have double's from 5lbs to 100lbs, shit I say can all the double's and get some big boy's in there, like said before, there's no motivation like a set of 200lb D/B's staring you in the face DARING you to grab them.

Chains, bands, boxes, chalk, and more serious lifters. I lift at my university gym and it's full of curl jockeys.

A T bar! I've got to rig my own with an olympic bar, and it works, but it's a rig, and hard to go wide with what I've got to work with.

I'd like to see some Hammer Strength too.

we only have 1 squat rack!! sucks when some moron is in there either curling or doing 135lb quarter squats...

other than that I can tolerate the fancy gym atmosphere simply because there is a lot of various benches and machines which allows you to switch up your workout if someone is taking the thing you were gonna work on...

My college gym is about the size of my dorm room... needs more floor space haha. yeah, and 100lb dumbbells dont cut it either, but when only me and one other person uses em, "it doesnt fit in the budget"

I wish my gym had a T-Bar row machine, you can always do them in the corner with a barbell and handle from the row attachement but it makes it easier to have a machine that is already set up for it.

A straight bar to do chins on all we have are the angled ones which are fine but a straight one is more comfortable for chins.

Rowing machine, cardio sucks but this makes it a little more bearable for me.

Heavier DB's, I'm not pressing the 120's but I can shrug higher than that and it would be nice to have more variety than just BB variations.

Another smith machine because the one we have is always occupied.

I would say a new tbar machine but we just got one.. thank God.. although i still find myself putten the pies on barbell and shoven in the corner somewhere with a tree grip.

I have built a nice gym in the garage. My wife calls it the DEN. Probably because I lift early in the morning, when everyone is asleep, and when I try to make that one last lift...all she can hear is howlin'!

Nothing is missing in my gym, IN FACT I would get rid of some things.
Like "those guys"
- Who exercise their tongues more then anything else
- Who scream out on every rep
- Who use cables(same machine) over and over, and not letting anybody else use it.
- Shadowboxers, we got quite a few
- Chicken Legs
.. etc

Shut up and Lift.

The Gold's gym here in spokane has got plenty of everything I could ever need. They have a great free weight area. I've only had to whip together a make shift T-Bar once because some other guy was using it.

My gym is missing those fat bars also bro... Try this. Wrap a towl around the section where you are gonna grip. seems to work for me

Can't believe Gold's gym would not have everything. They are really big chain of gyms. With the amount of money they charge should have everything.

My gym at college has a lot and I'm very happy with it, I wouldn't mind having a donkey calf raise machine or some better boxing equipment. Some better music wouldnt be bad either. I'm sorry, but r&b and pop just doesnt give me the pump.

The golds I go to is in need of some chains. The hammerstrength shrug apparatus would be nice too.
