Hey I heard someone mention a cutting training split on here not too long ago, but having a hell of a time finding it. Help or suggestions on a good one? Still want something that keeps it simple, but gets the job done (still gonna do HRT solo, but realized I'm doing things backwards. I have (in my eyes) alot of fat I need to cut first before I do any major mass gains)

those MIGHT have been, not sure. I don't believe they said which routine it was, just that it was an animal cutting routine, maybe even HRT-esque.

and Jack, what kind of stats are you needing bud?

jack, if you're wanting like body fat %, it's roughly 22%

at least around the midsection for sure, haven't had anybody measure me with calipers lately.

I meant years training, but most routines work as long as diet is in check (like you've heard hundreds of times before) best of luck!

Oh, yeah I've only been going to my gym and lifting and all that for almost 4 months now, so still pretty new to all this. figuring alot out on my own from either research or just watching other, more experienced people. It's just a matter of how I should split it, cause I can go in and just mess with what I like and go home and not see a great deal of results. And of course like you said diet is also a pretty big thing too. My thing is I've got one of those body types that can get both muscle and fat stored fairly easily, but have a hard time dropping fat. I can eat perfect one week and like crap the next and not really see much fluctuation.

Any routine you see can be used for cutting. I don't change my routine when i go from off season to pre contest. What i do change is my diet and cardio.

What does your diet look like now?

Correct. There are no 'bulking routines' or 'cutting routines'. The only thing that changes is your diet and the addition/increased cardio.
