Is there such a thing as the perfect split? If so what makes the perfect split? I do chest, back, shoulders, arms, legs from monday to friday, resting on the weekend. I wanna hear from some veterans as I am a newbie.

No, there is no such thing as a perfect split, there are only splits that work for you and ones that don't.

I agree ^^^ ..I've tried about every split routine on this website and many others and some worked(mostly from this site), and some gave me a real bad workout and made me mad I just wasted my time trying it..but its all trial and error and finding out what works for you

I remember when Dorian Yates 'Blood and Guts" video came out, everyone jumped on the shoulder/tri, back, OFF, chest/bi, OFF and leg split, hell I tried it and it was cool for a while, but for me, with my work schedule I like 1 body part a day, a day off after legs and me personally, a day off before chest (trying to bring my chest up) But it is an individual thing...REMEMBER IT IS NOT THE DAYS YOU TRAIN..BUT HOW HARD YOU TRAIN ON THE DAYS!
