View Full Version : Methoxy, ecdy
Does methoxy, ecdysterone and ipriflavone really live up to the claims? I know m-stak works, but thats a maybe 20 different supps in one. Ive read methoxy will increase lean body mass by 10% (rediculous) without increased coloric intake, and that ecdy is a miracle supp. I want to know if these claims are fabricated or exadurated. We know they work, but to what extent?

According to studies in Russia they do.. but I am not well versed in the area of methy ox so i will let the watchmen take this one.. lol
What I have heard that anything methylated is going to bind to the liver and give you the hardhitting lasting effects of the chemical.. which is what give you the gains we're after. Anyone want to validate this for me?

Can you give us links to the studies? You mention Russian studies and I can't help but think of Drago training in the fouth Rocky movie.

Sry it wasn't Russian but Hungarian... and it was on none other that bodybuilding.com

Here's a direct quote
"In order to fully understand the power of 5-methyl-7-methoxy-isoflavone, however; we must start with the first anabolic flavone compound to make big waves: 7-Isopropoxyisoflavone or Ipriflavone. This anabolic compound has been shown to have incredible results for rapid muscle growth on athletes, even though it has only been on the market for a short time. The lean muscle mass increase that people are experiencing on this is amazing! Chinoin (Hungarian pharmaceutical company), a leader in flavonoid research and knowledge, developed Ipriflavone in the early 1970's."
I started this thread because of that link on bodybuilding.com . The only info i could find was from companies trying to sell it, and obviously they're gonna hype it. Also the results in those studies sound like steroids. I believe one of the product descriptions either for methoxy of ecdy claimed it was more anabolic than steroids

Oh ok then you already read it.. well i don't know if it's MORE anabolic, but you have to take it in a different meaning. What anabolic means is to retain nitrogen and metabolise protein at a higher rate than what your body would normally be able to. Taken, that you are eating a high calorie and protein diet the chemical will allow you to put it all to use and bring it to the needed muscles that you've broken down in your workouts..
From my experiences with M-stak it helped me gain about 7 lbs when i was 130 lbs to about 137.. but this was over 4 weeks during the summer and I was taking in probably close to 6000 calories a day. The only way to see if it truely works and to see if it is what it is hyped up to be, is to try it..
it does work but to get the results your talking about youd have to take like 1000%(just throwing a number out there) what mstak has in it.
Yea i got some decent results out of it...just got to take it and try it like everyone else...might do good for you and might not
