View Full Version : Back in the Saddle
So it looks like I can finally have the opportunity to get back to where I wanna be. With all this bs goin on lately I think its time to get back whats really and mine. I have all the mass in the world, so I think I would like to actually see what I could look like cut. I have already started my journey two and a half weeks ago, but, I think I'm gonna need the extra motivation
Goals:
BF: 10% or less
Weight: 250> or less. I figured given my bf % 250ish would be a solid goal to reach for. When I get down to this weight I will assess if I should try to lose more or not.
DTG: 18 Weeks 14 December or so

Solid goals my man!
Cardio
I'm gonna see how this split works taking a day just in the middle of the week to do cardio. I fucin hate carb cutting. Serving in the military like me, cuttin carbs sucks due to the long ass days. Tomorrow is gonna be that challenge for me, chest abs and cardio after a long ass road march and a full day at work. Training at night sucks, especially in my line of work. Oh well, could be worse right, guess I'll make do with what I have and keep pushin forward. Friday is weigh in day and i'm interested to see how much I've lost, if anything at that. I hope this diet plan is workin the way its supposed to.
Cardio:
20 mins Elliptical
10 Mins Tredmill
Friday weigh in goal: 270-272lbs I hope I fall in that range.
So today was one hell of a physical day. Four mile ruck run this morning and then hit chest after work. My energy levels seem to be elevated, maybe its because I was busy all day. I threw in some explosive lifts before i hit chest to get me loose and add a new mix to things. Got weigh in tomorrow morning.
hang cleans 135x12, 185x8, 205x6, 225x4
chest
incline dumbell bench 4 sets w/ 130lbs dumbells (30 seconds rest) 6-11 reps
flat bench flyes 2x12 (30 second rest intervals) 50 lbs dumbells
incline bench flyes 4x12 (30 second rest intervals) 60 lbs dumbells
i think i ll throw in some cable crosses next week....
So its 14 OCT and Im liking the results I'm seeing thus far. I weighed in last week at 264 so I have lost a considerable amount of weight over the last few weeks, about 12 pounds to be exact. Its been about 8 weeks so I think its safe to say I am losing the right type of weight. I changed up my diet a lil bit. I eliminated quite a bit of sodium and I think that has had a lot to do with the weight loss I have seen. I have cut out all alcohol finally. Thats been a strange one. But, heh, I don't miss it. Ive got another two months to get to my goal so Im glad to see this ride is going well.
