sup guys need some help staying motavated, I work out alone, can't seem to keep a partner,plus I just started working out at home I spent a lot of money and bought everything I need,just havent had any real good workouts,any ideas?

You got any kind of mp3 player on you bro? You find the most motivating fuckin' music you can, take a couple minutes before you work out, and think of why the hell you do what you do - and what you want to achieve. Then just go at it. Take Animal Pump if you aren't already before you work out. That shit will light a fire under your ass.

If you can, before you work out or whenever. Not on the forums, but the website, go read all the articles put out by all the great authors on this site. Any of Wrath, Machine, Big Al, Bulldog, G Diesel's... you get the point. There isn't one article on here that won't inspire the shit out of you.

I'm not trying to be a smart ass, but have you read ANY of the articles in there??? The Watchmen are some of the bodybuilders/powerlifters that write them and they are some of the most inspiring/educated men in the game..
To answer your question, I like to read a couple of my fav. articles on the site then head out to they gym. It gets me focused at the task at hand and my adrenaline flowing.. try it out sometime

I think in order to stay motivated, you must have a clear idea what your goal is. Whether is gain mass/strength or getting more cut, don't sit around and wait for things to happen, gotta chase after it. Good luck bro!

I also train in my home-basement gym (the dungeon) alone...Motivation comes from within...I put a bodybuilding DVD on when I change into my workout clothes, drink 1 cup of strong coffee, as I am walking down the steps, I visualize my workout...once down stairs I take the phone off the hook and blast the music. While I do my stationary bike and shoulder (rotator cuff) warm up exercises, I remind myself why am I down here, to train hard and keep my concentration!!

that was an issue with me also, let me state that , and this article has done the trick for about 2 years....read Fuck Everything Else by Bulldog on the main site..incredible, makes you want to pound those weights

you need motivation brother just talk to your brothers here, theylll give you some shit to motivate you, otherwise i agree, fuking pumping music to get your heart going, animal pump and get your self psyched and angry or fuking happy, cus your work outs will always be shit if your depressed or shit, your body hasnt got the adrenaline.
