I hear the rooms book quick... The hotels right around the expo get booked up at least the year before as I understand it. If anyone finds a hotel with openings, post 'em up here fellas. Thanks.

I have already checked the Red Roof (because I am a Redi Card member) and they were booked a while ago... May want to keep checking, just in case though because sometimes a room opens up....

Thanks for the information. I did a search shortly after this year's Arnold 'just in case' and found how many places already had no availability.

FYI, the new Hilton will be open and is less than 1000 ft from the entrance. It was supposed to open this month but got set back when the workers dropped something on the freight elevator. It will be open by end of the month though.

And trust me, it's LEGIT, got some insider info on it.

I think they ended up opening last Friday. I'm sure rooms for the Arnold are going to fill up fast!

From what I could tell I got the last room at the Red Roof Inn Across the street from the Expo. I booked last March.

This is the place we always stay, and there are rooms still available:

This is about 10-15 minutes West of downtown, straight down I-70. There are several hotels at this exit, not to mention a 24-hour Meijer and a bunch of restaurants.

Wuts legit?

Legit as in Hilton style, huge, parking, full kitchen with extensive menu, not just burgers and fries, all new furnishings, everything. Come Arnold time it will only have been open 4 months, granted 1 is Dec/Jan, but I would say it will still be sick.

Plus it's less than 5 minutes to the expo. I'd imagine it will fill up fast though.

Wut prolly happened here is that the new hotel has a relationship with the Arnold and offered blocks of rooms to sponsors, vendors and such. So likely, a regular consumer never got a chance to book a room over the Arnold weekend... that's my guess.

Oh, I bet.... What's a better avenue to market the hotel than the Arnold??? Guaranteed booking EVERY year...lol.

I checked with the hotel that I stayed in for 4 years, that is one mile away, straight shot to the Expo... Between $100-$189 a night!!!! That is MORE than what I am paying 6 miles away for THURS-SUNDAY.. Wowza!!!

When the Arnold rolls in, C-Bus makes out like crazy... All the restaurants, hotels, bars, etc. Is it gigantic for the city.

Sure thing. They have a pretty decent continental breakfast, and a good sized hot tub which is open until 12:00 AM...definitely feels great after a long day on your feet, not to mention the gym time which usually follows.

You're gonna love it, there is nothing like The Arnold/Cage.

Stayin' at the same hotel as Nix and his crew.... however we just had a guy drop out on us (not a susprise)... so we have some extra room if someone is interested. Might help save some $$
