At our age it is all about remaining injury free and preserving muscle! We been trainng hard for what...25+ years, we own our size. Yeah it is a good mix with the giant sets....

And I know your schedule is just as busy if not more busy than mine, it is a good hard fast workout--Gets the job done!

Got cort. shot in left shoulder 6/2/10. Protocal is TAKE OFF FOR 3 DAYS...rest and go back light...Well going to try it AGAIN!

Yo Ant,

If I'm already having some joint issues, is there any benifit to doubling up on Flex for a while, or should I just stick with one per day and wait it out? Just wondering if I should order two cans at one time lol.

Sounds good. Pain is mostly in my right knee and shoulder. I get minor aches and pains everywhere though, you know how it is when we start getting up there in years. I'm not ready to slow down yet though lol.

I'm working at Comcast business tech support off of sandy hill road. Will be there till sometime in August then they are moving their facility to horsham.

Sounds like i got some good training days to look forward too!

Been using Universal Nutrition Torrent Zero - Apple Jacked twice a day...Cardio is 20 minutes 6x a week/stationary bike, my diet is good, not strict-strict pre-contest diet. Example:now I am having a salad with salmon-carrots-red peppers-almonds-low fat string cheese and olive oil/balsamic dressing

I am a lean-tight-cut-muscular 230lbs. And the shoulder is healing nicely...

Basically only changes are---Universal Nutrition Torrent Zero - Apple Jacked/2x a day
(mixed in ice water) and cardio 6x a week instead of 3.

Very muscular-hard for the summer time!

im trying out my first cutting season you can say for the next 12-14 weeks..chances are i might fail and make mistakes but ill give it my best shot with the help of animal cuts , and a good diet ..im aiming for 330 grams of protein a day with 180-200 grams of carbs to start out with.idk if i will be needed to lower it or make it higher but lets see how it goes



oh and vinny a great dude even though i havent met the guy in person yeet..but in all honesties from looking at the vids hes on and the magazine appearances he been on its seems as if he a real genuine person..people meelow with age but thats not the case here lmao

Grabbing the "D" handles on the high part of the cable-x-over...stand in the middle and curls your arms in towards your ears...very much like a front double bicep pose....hold for 2 seconds...great-strict movement!

See--I knew it, you still SECRETLY want to bodybuild! LOL

Glad your shoulders are healing, mine is also...takes time!

ive been workin my butt off, got a job on a farm in feburary and been there ever since and between that and summer school i am busy everyday.. so my summer is almost non existant but itll pay off for me in the long run...

Bike/cardio x20 minutes and abs...

Have to work both jobs (8am-1pm) and (3-11) 5 days this week...and several days last week, plus some o/t at the C/O State Job. Will train legs on Wednesday and hit Back/Shoulders on Friday. Much rather train one body part per day, but the p/t job gave me 3 extra days, making the $ now...so it will be the following split....
Chest/Arms---Legs---Back/Shoulders until hopefully next week!

Diet is still very good, loving the Zero Carb Torrent! My carbs are low-medium and still enjoying several cheats on the weekends. My cheat was bbc on Sat. 2 beef ribs, 3 pork ribs, 1 skinless-boneless chicken breast, 1 drum stick, coleslaw, baked beans and 1 slice of Texas toast!

Zero Carb Torrent/Cardio/Less rest between weight lifting sets/Med-low carb diet and cheat meal on Sat/Sun.

I would honestly say I could compete in 6-8 weeks...
IF I REALLY WANTED TO....But with Lisa/AJ, my work load and my shoulder (getting better) still not 100% ---I CHOOSE NOT TO, NOT ENOUGH TIME TO DEVOTE 110% TO BODYBULDING COMPETITION (NOW) I want to GREATLY improve from my stellar 2007 NPC Nationals conditioning!

Takes time. . . .

A very hetic week, had to work both jobs...8am-1pm and 3pm-11:30pm all week/and Sat/Sun! Except today, just worked the p/t job 8am-6:30pm. Got in 4 cardio sessions and 2 ab session, 0 weight training! I start permanent day shift on 7-3-10! Hopefull some normalcy will come to vivit me!

Oh and I had to laugh. I walked into my gym and saw 4 people doing the BigAnt, rather Big Tony 6 way shoulder raises....the word is spreading.

My grip on the dumbbell presses is standard like a barbell but I keep the "bells" angled a bit, the pinky fingers are always higher than the thumbs....

THE 6 WAY BIG ANT SHOULDER RAISE IS ON FIRE....LOL

Truth be told, yes I have not trained heavy since Feb/2010...Because of my partial tear in my left rotator cuff (supraspinatus) Just this week, I was using about 60-70% of my old chest-shoulder weight training weights, my reps are much M U C H slower and smoother now, really focusing on "the feel" and my reps are a bit higher than normal as well!

Took 95s to 495s to train with Big Al...Always a good time and great workout when I train with him! He is on the mend, but him training light is still scary heavy...

It is not an attendance game, what "you do" when you train is far more important than "how many days you make it to the gym"

Me with Big Al, Vinny, House and Ox are the first ones you notice...10 steps a small square island, turn, and 10 more steps get you on ground basement floor...1,110 sq foot of equipment, over 4x6 3/4 in thick rubber matted floors and over a dozen mirrors are up most of my trophies are shelfed and an old boom-box radio will paly your music for enjoyment,,,

Where's your Ask the Pro's (Animals). wanted to ask some questions about off season but could't find your thread. Maybe I'm a retard & can't see it in front of my face. lol!!
Anyway, I'll just ask it here. As you know I just finished my show (Thanks again for all of your help, we gave those enhanced guys something to think about. Some must be pissed that a
46 yo natural guy kicked their ass) & you know I start nursing school 8/28 8 1/2 hr days saturday and sunday + 55hr work week is going to be killer. I know your schedule isn't any easier. Just looking for your thoughts on training. You stay BIG but have great shape & pretty lean for off season. How would you break up body parts on a 3 day/week schedule.
Realistically I don't think my normal 4 day./week program will work. It's only for 15 weeks at a time, then can go back to 4 or 5 day.
