Yo everyone,

I started my journey some time ago… I started on this website a while back and been here and there for a while now.
Just recently started doing powerlifting a few months back and have decided to log my journey as I will actually be competing.
My first competition is coming up this month and I’ve been doing quite a bit of reading in the powerlifting section and still have a ways to go.
So, join me while I learn and grow as a powerlifter and achieve those BIG NUMBERS!

My Current max lifts:
Bench: 285 (1 sec pause)
Squat: 350 (ATG)
Deadlift: 475
Current total: 1,110.

My goals for the future (sometime down the line…)
Bench: 405+
Squat: 450+
Deadlift: 600+

Now these are the end numbers I want, these are just a few I have in mind to hit and continue on in my powerlifting.
I also throw in some crossfit movements just to be more well-rounded.

Current Stack
Pak
Pump
Rage

Current weight:
213 (on a good day)

I don’t drink protein shakes unless there is no way for me to get food into my system
I’ll post my meals from time to time

Let’s get this going.

220 is what I'm shooting for.

I'll be competing in the Legendary Competitor Powerlifting Meet.
This will be my first meet, stoked so far.

Yesterday…

Heavy “3”

Threw down my Rage/Pump

Warmed up with some Double-unders and dive bomber push-ups.
Followed by some shoulder mobility movements then hit it.

135 x 5
155 x 5
185 x 3
225 x 3 (1 sec pause all 3)
235 x 3 (1 sec pause all 3)
245 x 3 (1 sec pause all 3)
255 x 3 (1 sec pause all 3)
265 x 2 (1 sec pause for 2, failed on 3rd.) DAMN IT!
I can’t believe I failed that low.
I wasn’t happy with my end lift, I wanted to hit at least 270 x 3.

Rested for a bit, then hit Military Press w/ 2 BIG ASS CHAINS EACH SIDE
65 + Chains x 5
95 + Chains x 5
115+ Chains x 5
125 + Chains x 2
-wanted to continue, but wasn’t feeling a bit dizzy, so I stopped.

Finished off w/ an easy row and stretch.

Going to work on some cleans tonight, we’ll see what happens.
